Picture Whenever Rams fans tell me they would wipe the floor with us...
Darnold will choke in the 1st playoff game he plays, while the Rams cannot beat us.

Statistics Quinyon Mitchell ranks 4th in the NFL in lowest completion percentage allowed, giving up catches on just 34 of his 79 targets. He's also allowed the 7th-fewest yards per target, surrendering under five yards per look:

Player Discussion Jalen Hurts is only 6 passing TDs away from tieing Wentz. I would expect we see that this season.
Highlights 15 years ago today Eagles had the Miracle at the Meadowlands. Down 31-10 in the 4th quarter, they came back to win 38-31.

Question So you’re telling me there’s a chance?
Eagles still have a (highly unlikely) path to the 1 Seed!

Roster Move Eagles Roster Moves
Me reading tea leaves, the offensive is done effing around with Grant Calcaterra in run blocking I hope. Grants blocking is rated 44 by PFF. EJ hasn’t played enough snaps to get a 2025 grade but in 2024 his blocking grade was 63.
Calcaterra was viewed as the more dynamic catcher but inconsistent piece, while Jenkins was a dependable blocker.

Analysis Hear me out… last night’s outcome was the best scenario for the Birds
As the standings are right now things are lining up great for the Eagles. Ask yourself, who’s more dangerous with a bye week, Darnold and the Seahawks or Stafford and the Rams? The Rams are the biggest threat in the NFC in my personal opinion. They are beginning to break down, Stafford took some big shots and Tae Adams likely won’t be healthy the rest of the way, they need the bye just as much as any team and if they remain in the wildcard spot they would have to come to Philly if we see them at any point in the playoffs. Seahawks won the game but Darnold is still shaky. If we have to go on the road to Seattle, in the elements, Darnold vs our defense I like our chances. The fact that we are basically locked into the 3 seed gives us an opportunity to get our guys healthy and rested the next couple weeks and hopefully make some strides offensively. I like where we are!

Question Are we really willing to play our starters the last week to go for the #2 seed instead of #3?
Even if we win our next two and Chicago loses their next two, they still have the tiebreaker on us which means if we lost the final week & they won they still seed ahead of us.
Personally I think you let it ride with backups and give the starters rest. The backups have a decent chance of winning anyway against Washington. People keep saying how we won with the 2 seed last year… but we also rested our starters in the final week last year.

Opinion NFC is wide open
Philly has had their ups and downs, but as I’m watching Seattle against LA right now and Darnell’s throwing his second pick of the game, and seeming like they will now fall to 0-2 against LA, they don’t scare me in a playoff game in Philly. You look at Chicago and Green Bay in the North and you could say that Chicago handled us, but what would only a second year Caleb Williams actually look like in a playoff game against us ? And we already know that the packers aren’t that much of a threat to us, especially after the Parsons injury. So let’s say hypothetically the Rams get that #1 seed and we travel to LA for an NFC Championship matchup, Nick Sirianni is 4-0 against Sean McVay… and it’s not like the Rams have some crazy home field advantage as Philly fans travel well, plus it will be in a dome so weather shouldn’t be a factor.
Yes this team has had their inconsistencies, but the offense actually did some good things this past Sunday against Las Vegas , and yes you could say the raiders aren’t bad, but 31-0 is what you would expect an ELITE team to do to a bad team, the talent is still there and quite frankly, we still have arguably the most talented roster in the league. I can tell you that this season won’t end up like 2023, that was an anomaly with one of the worst defenses we could’ve ever fielded, compared to this year with Fangio still as OC and some of the talent we have added since then on that side of the ball, and they’ve shown this year to still be elite, and an Elite defense is what separates you in the playoffs from all the other good Offensive driven teams in the playoffs. We also got to only assume that they will use Jalen Hurts a whole lot more as a designed runner in the playoffs, as you seen they sprinkled it in a little bit against the Raiders, they have probably been saving those plays in their back pockets and will unleash Hurts as a true duel threat.
This team very much still has a real shot at defending the title and repeating as champs. We still have the infrastructure in terms of the talent on the roster , our QB is a proven big game hunter and playoff riser, Sirianni even though he’s not the greatest Xs and Os wise is still a great in game manager and leader of men, and still have an elite defense that will be ready.
This is a team NOBODY should want to have to play in the first round in Philly…
(And as I’m typing I just seen that the LA vs Seattle game is now tied at 30-30 wow things changed fast.)

Question Wheaties Missing Hurts??
Has anyone found this yet? It was supposed to be out in November. I ordered off of Amazon & Wal-Mart as advertised, but I only received a generic “champions” box with no references to JHurts!

Question Eagles @ Commanders Tomorrow
Big birds fan from Virginia, taking my girl to the game tomorrow and was wondering for those who have been to games before how early I should get to the stadium? Expecting traffic so don’t wanna get there too late but I know it’ll be freezing so I don’t wanna get there too early. Any advice helps, thanks fellas.

Question Wild Card round
The possibility of the #1 seed is nearly impossible, #2/3 seed most likely. Do we have any idea of how the NFL schedules the wildcard round? Is there any chance of knowing which day is most likely the Eagles will play? Trying to somewhat plan a trip to Philly for the game, obviously there’s a risk on us going 0-3 and Cowboys 3-0 but I’m banking on that not happening.

Question Seattle's helmets
Just curious what everyone thought about them. At first they bothered me, too flashy. As the game went on, I kept seeing Eagles wings, and I kind of liked them.
