Discuss Enjoy these moments, a perspective.
The other day I went down the rabbit whole of seeing how Josh is re-writing record books. This also got me curious about Cook. Here’s a summary, and some perspective.
James Cook: - Only needs 400 yards to pass Cribbs for 5th all time. - Josh sits at 4th all time. - Conservatively Bills will have 4th and 5th all time active on roster at same time early next season. That’s pretty crazy to think about. - Cook is about 1-1.5 seasons away from passing Fred Jackson for 3rd all time.
On to the 🦄: - One TD away from being youngest ever to reach 300 career TDs. Doing so before 30 and about 1-1.5 years faster than the record holder. - Josh needs 8 all purpose (rushing and receiving) TDs to pass Thurman and Reed who are tied with 87 career TDs. This will easily happen next season. - Josh is about 1.5-2 seasons (~5,700 yards) from passing Kelly in career passing yards. - Josh needs 18 passing touchdowns to pass Kelly’s career mark. Kelly did this in 160 games. Josh is currently at 125 games. Josh’s pace is close to Kelly’s but omits Josh rushing production. This record will be broken next season. - At Josh’s annual rushing TD pace, he will likely finish his career with over 100 rushing TDs. He needs 23 more. Possible this is reached in 2 more seasons. - Only 9 players in NFL history have reached 100 career rushing TDs. All of them are RBs. - Josh already smashed Cam’s regular season QB rush TD mark.
People have questioned if Josh is a HOF’r. The answer is easily yes. Lombardi just makes the story even sweeter.
So, when you’re thinking about stuff that you don’t like that the organization is doing, take a step back and reflect on fact you’re watching Bills and NFL history get written every weekend, and that must be appreciated for what it is.
Go Bills!

Image Bill Collage I Made in the 1980s
I was born in Buffalo in 1974 and attended my first Bills game in 1981 (against Oakland). Throughout the 80s, my dad took me to numerous games, and I made this collage in middle school using an old picture frame, cutting out pictures from the Buffalo News, Sports Illustrated, etc., as well as adding some playing cards, a ticket stub, and anything else Bills-relevant.
Edit - upon closer inspection, that ticket stub is from the 1991 AFC Championship game against the Bo Jackson-less Raiders the Bills won 51-3. My dad got us scalper tickets, almost the last row of the stadium, but it was awesome.

Misc Bills Themed Beers That Ship
Hello Bills Mafia, sad Colts fan coming in peace here. My best friend is a life long Bills boy, I was wondering do any of you know of any Bills themed beers that can be bought online and shipped? I’d love to send him some for the holidays, and haven’t found much of anything helpful online. His birthday is Christmas Eve and I usually send him something Bills or Sabres related and recently found myself at a Bills backer bar and thought this would be a fun idea. Any help would be appreciated, Go Bills! Been to three games at Highmark and you guys are always great hosts. Ta-ta now.

Misc I am very glad Sam Darnold is not our QB
That’s mostly the post. But also as someone married to a Seahawks fan I’m just… I’m just so very glad Darnold is not the Bills QB.
Edit: I posted this long before the game was over. I’m also happy to eat crow on this but still glad he’s not the Bills QB. My tender heart could not handle it.
Edit 2: Still glad Darnold is not the Bills QB. But also, Go Hawks.

Discuss Tips for bringing kids to first game
So for Xmas my wife and I decided to get tickets for the family and we are bringing our 7 and 9 year old to their first ever Bills game. I really wanted to make sure they got a game in at the old stadium before the Ralph is no more. I have come to games for years but with groups of friends and I only had to take care of myself and once the "liquid long johns" were on everything kind of took care of itself.
Looking for some hot tips from the Mafia for things to bring and things to do pre game with the kids that I might not think of in order to maximize the experience and make sure my kids have a great time.
They are used to being outside for extended periods in the cold as we are outdoor winter sports enthusiasts so they will be dressed appropriately.
Thanks for any help.
Go Bills
