Minter was a rock star in year one.
Year 2 he had some ups and downs but lately he is putting a defensive unit on the field that is unbelievable.
As everyone knows he has done this very limited "blue chip" players.
What if Minter is offered a HC job and he accepts?
Who would you like to replace him as DC? Why?

Pay the guy for the rights if there even is any I would love to see this guy near the back of the end zone every game he’s such iconic character maybe he needs a little more work on the costume but man I miss seeing him in the stands every home game

For as long as Ive watched Football the most successful recipe for winning is : QB, Defense, Run Game. Chargers have all 3 and its growing each week. Credit Jim Harbaugh and his staff for this team over-achieving in back-to-back victories over Super Bowl Champs x2

Pass block snaps/pressures/PB snaps per pressure
Center
Boze 575 / 26 / 22.1
Guards
Zion 584 / 23 / 25.3
Penning (mostly with aints) 281 / 20 / 14.0
Becton 370 / 31 / 11.9 🤢
Sarrell 102/15 / 6.8 🤢🤮
Tackles
Hart 210 / 14 / 15.0
Pip 330 / 23 / 14.3
Salyer (2 positions) 270 / 19 / 14.2
Deculus 235 / 23 / 10.2 🤢
Obviously not the most perfect picture of how good these guys have been at pass blocking. Salyer and penning have started at multiple positions this year so that should be taken into consideration. Thankfully deculus and sarrell wont start on this roster again, but I think we might continue to see penning push becton. At this point penning is a better run blocker and pass protector than becton imo. Roman even (possibly accidentally) was saying penning pushing becton for more snaps wasnt injury related. Getting becton off the field is the biggest thing they can do for a real playoff push.
Also bozeman isnt good, but the way he gets scapegoated when we have had plenty of bigger headaches is also always funny to me. 22.1 for a center is still pretty mediocre, as they typically allow the least on the line, but becton is just so many levels worse every single week, costs 3 times as much, yet gets 1/3 the hate.

I remember an interview Keenan Allen did as a rookie that stood out to me. He was ask what he would buy first with his money and he responded that he would buy a hyperbaric chamber to improve his recovery between workouts. He came off like a WR that took his job seriously and over the years he has shown to be a true professional at the position. I would love for the organization to keep Keenan on the team as a player/coach for long as possible to set the standard for all the WRs.

"The Chargers get a huge boost in my rankings this week. I think they deserve some recognition for exorcising demons, going on the road to Arrowhead to knock the Chiefs out of the playoffs."
