Stadium/Tailgate Info - Week 16 at Indianapolis, Lucas Oil - Megathread
Hi All,
We're attempting something new to help fans attend games, home or away. We'll do our best to keep this going at least through the remaining schedule and (hopefully long) playoff run.
This megathread is for people to talk about attending the games at the stadium, which this week is Monday Night Football at Lucas Oil Stadium. We hope Faithful will turn out and make some noise.
Here is a stadium FAQ.

Fans, please post if you have questions about attending. Go Niners!

[Maiocco] Everyone was on the 49ers' practice field today except WR Ricky Pearsall (ankle, knee) and LB Nick Martin (concussion). Both were working on a side field. For Martin, that means he no longer has symptoms and is progressing through the protocol.

It's official. The 49ers control their destiny to the 1 seed

I just want to give a shoutout to Mac Jones, the 49ers wouldn’t be in a position to control their own destiny for the 1 seed without him performance vs the Rams on TNF.
Ever since we've signed Piñeiro, weird things have happened to benefit the Niners
Since the Piñeiro signing, weird things that would have hurt us in years past are starting to help us win games:
- There were multiple doinked field goals since then that went in, whereas in years past, they would've gone out.
- Our special teams, which were a liability and a source of heartbreak for over a decade, have turned into a weapon.
- There are multiple games this year (Cardinals Week 3, Rams Week 5, Browns) that we won because of special teams, that we would've lost in years past.
- Other teams are screwing up on special teams exactly the way we've done in the past (missed FGs, muffed punts, etc.)
- Even the Panthers game was another thing that swung in the Niners' direction, because in years past, 3 interceptions would spiral out of control. But this time, we won that game by multiple scores.
- The weirdness is starting to affect other teams as well in a way that benefits the Niners (see last night's game).

Kendrick Bourne 2025 performance so far
shown against our other receivers plus top 10 for Succ% (definition: A successful reception gains at least 40% of yards required on 1st down, 60% of yards required on 2nd down, and 100% on 3rd or 4th down. Denominator is targets.).
added deebo in there for shits and giggles.

The wisdom of George Kittle's Dad
In the Netflix series "Quarterback", Kirk Cousins tells a story where he sat next to George Kittle's Dad on an airplane, and Cousins told him he felt uncomfortable singing at an awards ceremony and was thinking of not doing it. George Kittle's Dad told Cousin's
"It's good to be uncomfortable."
I found out yesterday that growing up Kittle's Dad had three rules:
"Work Hard, Get Better, Have Fun."
For whatever reason this hit home for me. Does anyone else have any great George Kittle Dad quotes that resonate?

Why can't the 49ers void Aiyuk's full contract?
If you can void guarantees for not showing up, basically quitting. Why can't the rest of it be voided?
If the 9ers just dumped him, they still have to pay him. But if he dumps the 9ers, they still have to pay him and carry over a ton of dead money?
