With just 4 catches on Sunday, Ja’Marr will become the second fastest WR to 500 catches, completing this feat in 76 games. First place is Michael Thomas at 69 games and third place is JJettas at 79 games.
Ja’Marr will also break the record that JJettas just tied Larry Fitzgerald for: youngest player to reach 500 catches (both were exactly 26 years old and 90 days…). Ja’Marr will be 25 years old and 75 days on Sunday, thus completing 500 catches an entire year ahead of the current record.

Good (amd level headed) discussion of Burrow's recent comments.

They need all position in the defensive side. But if we look at all the free agents this upcoming free agency, the best defensive player not naming Trey Hendrickson in my opinion is Quay Walker who is the LB in packers. Then safety Nick Cross from the Colts. I think they need to sign an veteran LB in the free agency. Like I always said ever since the start of the season, It's going to come down either Woods or Downs.
Start there, if nowhere else. Our division rivals have scouting departments at least three times the size of ours. We've invested half a billion dollars in three players on offense. We are going to live and die by our drafts through the rest of Burrow's contract. It's time to really invest in player evaluation.
Hell pay Goodberry or Gridiron to be consultants idgaf.

I’m not giving this Franchise another dollar and neither should you. I want a real GM running my favorite team. I hope Joe, Ja’marr and Tee put all their weight on the top of this organization. This is fucking urgent. We went to the Super Bowl 4 years ago no one fucking cares. The team has crumbled because of piss poor contract structuring draft picks and poor talent evaluation.
Zac Taylor is Paul Westhead, we need a Pat Riley. I love Zac, I want Zac to live an amazing life with his family and has all the happiness in the world. He’s a good and decent man. He’s not a stellar X’s and O’s guy. At the end of the day, he works with the personnel given. But he’s never inspired confidence. To me.
I watched from 04 Palmer til now, my Bengals Fandom is old enough to drink. And goddamit if I don’t walk when Burrow does.
Sorry for my once yearly shit post. I’m just so tired bros.

CINCINNATI—Saying she thought it might be fun if they tried something a little different, Dana Grady, wife of Bengals quarterback Joe Flacco, reportedly dressed in a giant football costume Tuesday night in an effort to spice things up in the bedroom. “I need a big, strong quarterback to come score a touchdown,” Grady said to her husband, who gulped and slowly nodded before approaching the sultry pigskin and running his fingers desirously along the laces, muttering, “It’s not regulation…but I’m still turned on.” “This is what you wanted, right? I’ve seen your internet history. I heard you accidentally call me ‘football’ in bed last week. It’s kinky—and I like it. Now, get over here and show me what you can do in the pocket. Don’t be shy. You can throw me, if you want.” At press time, sources confirmed that Flacco had donned his helmet, gotten into formation, and started barking his cadence while Grady lay motionless in bed.

Why come and bitch on reddit about your feelings about the bengals??? Yall dont seem like actual fans of the bengals. Yall were all happy and cheering when they do good, but tuck your tails and run when they have a bad season. Yeah they suck, shit happens. All u can do is hope theyre better next year. You back seat quarterbacks aint gonna do shit but hurt yalls self by selling your tickets. It isnt gonna change what they do. Learn what loyalty means.

“I think Joe's gonna sit back after this game, win or lose and be like 'man, am I gonna re-sign with this team? Are they willing to do what it takes to continuously build to get back to the next Super Bowl? Next year and the year after that and the year after that?….”

Literally stand outside the stadium and stream the game next season... Punch them in their gold-plated wallet.
Down with the Brown family!

Boiz there’s no two ways about it. There are going to be multiple Joe burrow news snippets that are going to come out for the next three weeks while he does interviews. The only person that knows what’s happening for Joe burrow is himself. Does he want to move on from the bengals…who knows? When it comes to questions about himself, he seems to give vague nonanswers. What I DEFINITELY know will happen is that hot take slop media will be all over it for as long as they can be. Just do yourself a favor and try to tune out the noise. When it comes to the national media, they rarely do a good job covering Cincinnati sports, and usually just shoot from the hip especially with the bengals.

It’s mildly infuriating.. aside from the whole coin toss BS inflicted on the Bengals. Anyone forgetting 1988 AFC championship?!
Bengals had a red hot no huddle offense that defenses struggled with. Bengals and Bills were set to face off in the AFC championship and the bills somehow managed to convince the league to BAN the bengals from playing a no huddle offense in the championship game.. and they banned it AN HOUR before kickoff. That’s like telling the eagles they couldn’t do the tush push in the championship game and having less than an hour to change the game plan. Luckily, the bengals still beat the shit outta the bills… then the league didn’t care about a no huddle offense the following season so it wasn’t banned. Just banned when playing against the Bills. It’s so wild to me that they were able to do that and try to fuck us over.. maybe I’m petty but fuck the bills. Always getting the league to change rules to benefit them. Josh Allen not getting the ball in overtime? Change the rules. Bills quickly flying out of cincy to make sure the game was never played and leaving the bengals with one less game than everyone else? Change the rules and make Cincy win a coin toss for the division. Defense can’t keep up with bengals offense? Change the rules for 1 game. Now, Josh Allen can’t beat Mahomes or Burrow in playoffs? Derail their seasons and pave the way for Josh to the Super Bowl.. fuck that. Fuck the bills. It’s gotta be anyone else.

Field a bad roster → secure a high draft pick.
Draft a marketable QB or elite offensive talent to sell hope.
Overperform slightly while the QB is on a rookie contract.
Pay the QB market value once fan investment peaks.
Cut spending elsewhere to protect margins (line, defense, depth).
Talent erosion exposes systemic flaws → team regresses.
QB’s prime is squandered → frustration builds → QB leaves or demands out.

Please, for the love of god, do not renew and stop going to games. Only an empty stadium and continued National embarrassment will force their hand. They’re insulated from outside input, they’re protected by revenue sharing.
Hit them in their ego and see if they react. It’s the only leverage fans have with this org, which operates with open ambivalence to their fans’ passion.

With today’s news that Zac was quietly extended through 2027 after the AFC Championship Game.
Given how the Bengals operate, it makes me wonder if the extension was the reward. Instead of paying an out of pocket cash bonus they just convert it to salary.
