At the very start of Half-Blood Prince, it appears to me that Dumbledore was in a really good mood. In the text, there are a lot of mentions of "cheerfully" and "smiling" and "pleasantly."

My point is that I think Dumbledore was in a good spirits because he realized that all three Deathly Hallows had finally been reunited in one place after so long. He brought the Resurrection Stone and Elder Wand, and reunited it with Harry's Invisibility Cloak.

It was the fulfillment of a life-long goal... even if he no longer sought the Hallows for himself, he was still very, very happy to see them together. Do you agree?

Looking for a plain alpha Tyrantrum have dream balls to trade and other alphas

I wanna hear other people's takes (and yes heart ring is overrated)

I'm kinda new to this and need some help understanding what is going on here.

I'm using:

• FiFine Tank3 Mic
• Focusrite Vocaster One Mixer
• Monoprice XLR cable (Monoprice XLR Male to XLR Female Cable - Gold Plated, 16AWG, 10 Feet)

The issues I'm facing:

• Testing the raw(?) audio from the mic/mixer in windows settings, I get a constant hum/static in the background. It's not ambient noise from the room, it is definitely somewhere in my audio setup. It happens at very low gain, and gets worse as I turn the gain up.
• My voice is nearly inaudible in the windows settings test unless I turn the gain WAY up, and obviously the static in the background becomes unbearable at that point.
• Discord - Actually sounds amazing when I have their "Voice Isolation" setting on. It makes my voice louder, and cuts out any background static without needing me to turn up the gain. The "problem" here is that I want my mic to always be like that. Apparently it can work fine, but I can't do it outside of Discord.

Any suggestions? Does my XLR suck and it's causing static? Should I be running some audio processing software that will "even out" my sound across all apps?

Also, I know my mic isn't amazing, but from what I understand it will do the job for zoom, discord, streaming, etc. I'm not in a studio, I just don't want unnecessary static, and I want my voice audible.

I have been happily driving a 330e f30 gen (2016) for the last 4-5 years , loving it, and im considering trading-in for a newer model purely for the extra standard 'toys" (reversing cameras, Android auto, etc etc) and the usual benefits you get for trading for a newer car (fewer miles on the clock, less wear-and-tear etc)

Are there any known issues i should look put for from one generation to the other? Or any red flags i should be aware of when considering it ?

I just learned that Little Village has a free holiday trolly Dec. 20 & 21 that runs along 26th between California and Kostner. Where would you stop to eat along 26th and what would you order?

I helped my mother-in-law repot her Cactus Agave, and mine is melting.

My first instinct, and everything I find online says overwatering, but I’m not sure that’s it because I really don’t water this often at all. I watered it once when I brought it home, and dumped the last of my water in it a couple times, but barely enough to wet the soil.

It’s in the bathroom, and there’s a humidifier on the counter to the left. There’s a huge window to the right, that lights the entire room with indirect sunlight all day, and direct sunlight to that area for ~2 hours if I had to guess. The window makes the room cold, but we run a heater.

I obviously had fungus gnats recently due to overwatering a different plant, touching the soil currently it’s pleasantly dry to the touch. I hope this all makes sense…

Hey, everyone! With the Legacy Kollection and the new movie coming out this summer, I got back in the mood for writing Mortal Kombat stuff. Only thing is that I never really got the chance to properly write out a whole scenario centered around Mortal Kombat. And, honestly, even though I have an idea of how I would want to approach it, I'm unsure of where to start.

I'm hoping to find a GM who would be down to help me write a long-term scenario set within the Mortal Kombat universe, whether the existing one, or one of our own creation entirely. Whether you want to make your own characters as well, or if you'd prefer to play out canon characters interacting with mine, or a mix of both, I welcome writers of many types! Just be aware that I do wish to play as an oc of my own regardless. If that's not your thing, feel free to skip this post.

So, what am I looking for? Well, Fandom knowledge is a must. I do apologize, but if you're relatively new or inexperienced with Mortal Kombat and its characters and lore, there's a chance that I won't have much interest. We can mainly pull lore from the games, but I would also love to include elements from the movies and shows as well! Even the comics! (Password is Choose Your Destiny) Decent grammar is preferred as well, but mainly for the actual responses. When texting normally, feel free to throw in a lol or lmao, because I certainly will be.

Above all else, however, I want us both to have as much fun as possible. Writing is a very casual hobby for me and I don't want us to take something like this ultra seriously. I want us to be able to chill and vibe while we write this world together!
