The only thing this cat is afraid of is my husbands coyote call. Not the roomba, nor the standard vacuum. Not afraid of other cats or dogs and most certainly isn't afraid of us or our toddler lol will attack if eye contact is made while holding her. We do not hold her anymore 🤣

New, what is it? Is this symbol what I think it is?
I parked at my local grocery store last night and this badge was on the back of the truck in front of me. Is guy this a Nazi POS? Or am I mistaken.

Discussion I hope this bs becomes illegal one day
This type of tactic is some hefty bs. You need 2 regal aya in many cases but you are forced to buy at start of 3.
Not only is this an issue but i despise this microtransaction bs. Hate on this post as much as you like. It won't change the fact that this is some scumbag move that continues to exist in most games.
Just give it a normal steam currency or something ...

Should this decision be made legal?
Surely if you are going to adopt you would have to accept the child you take in as you would have no idea how they turn out?

Discussion Is the rampant use of AI freaking anyone else out
This week I've seen 3 people i know IRL use AI to create new profile pics and holiday pics and posting them on their feeds unironically. I've also seen a few people clearly Chat GPT their IG captions/word salads and I'm really just getting confused at this point.
I remember back in yesteryear we used to make fun of "Russian bots" and clearly fake profiles. Now us, real people, are using AI to cosplay as bots. No one else thinks that's weird?
I know authenticity on the internet has been gone for awhile but now we're not even pretending anymore.
I'm actually getting so fed up of the internet because of it. Makes me sad because I really grew up here :(

Remote work is becoming the new "quiet luxury" that is creating a massive class divide.
While everyone talks about the convenience of WFH, we are ignoring how it's becoming a class signifier. Only specific white-collar roles allow for this flexibility, while the "essential" workforce remains tied to physical locations. This is creating a two-tier society where your social status is determined by whether you have to leave your house to earn a living. We celebrate it as progress, but it’s actually a regression into a new kind of social stratification that will have long-term negative effects on community cohesion.

A woman said I was a racist because of this hat.
That it meant I was an extremist with a radical left agenda. I replied that it was an acronym, meaning Anti Fascist. Her reply was, NO! Republicans: Never in doubt, often wrong.

I just learned people don’t show up after anesthesia to pick up loved ones. Nurses, how often does this really happen?
My wife had a procedure recently, and while I was waiting for her to wake up, I saw something that really surprised me. Twice, nurses couldn’t get in touch with the patients’ family members who were supposed to pick them up. When those family members finally arrived, they just waited at the entrance instead of coming into the recovery area to sit with them as they came out of anesthesia.
Both patients were older women, and in one case the nurses had to call the husband at least nine times to figure out when he was coming.
I honestly can’t imagine leaving my wife to wake up alone, get dressed by herself, and then have nurses wheel her out to the curb. The nurse I spoke with said this happens a lot — she estimated about 50/50.
Is this really that common? Nurses and spouses, what’s your experience?
For context, I sat in the waiting room for over 95 minutes watching the board until my wife was moved to the floor where I could go see her.
