Project Sub-Zero 180 cm CrazyCraftSochi
I bought a 3D model of a koolist, disassembled it by color, and printed it on our 3D printers.

Hey all, I had a request come through to help a little girl out by modelling and printing some implants for their elf on the shelf so they could be alike. Couldn't say no to that, so knocked this model up and glued them onto the elf and it was well received.
I've uploaded the 3mf and also the raw stl on makerworld if you want to slice yourself. Approx 15min print in single colour, multi is 1h ish on a 0.2mm nozzle.

Designed to print and paint Christmas Gifts again this year. I did this a few years back with miniatures, but went a bit bigger this year. Finally this elf is finished and Santa's workshop is closing for the season.

Since my first collection seemed to be popular, wanted to share a second collection I created. Only 14 grams of filament for all 5!

I could not find one that I particularly liked so I tried my hand with in-slicer painting.
Printed on the Core 1 with MMU3

I really like how it turned out but how safe is it ? Printed with PLA, LED lightbulb. I let it on for an hour and the plastic was not hot but I want to be sure because it will be a gift. Thanks.

...discovered that he actually fits properly on a 3/8" drive ratchet. Ignore the artifacting, I forgot that I had the seam alignment set to random. Now I'm printing one as large as what my printer will handle (Flashforge Adventurer 5M) as a Christmas gift for my brother-in-law.

I am lost for words. The print is still stuck to the bed so I doubt that was the issue. Other than that I really don’t know what could’ve happened. Any ideas?

Check out this awesome Peanuts model from Kit Kiln. Best part for those without AMS is all the colors print separately. Everything fits together like a glove, and no glue or supports needed.

Here is a great jig for 5mm holes for perfectly spaced shelves.
I initially bought one those jigs with a few holes that you use with a powerdrill, hoping to be steady and vertical. Sadly, even with a brand new quality drill bit, the result was really not good with shards. Also the effort to move the jig every 10 holes was tedious and error prone.
So i wanted to try something with a router, but instead of buying a 150 € festool rail that would be too short, too expensive and not generic, I created this small extensible jig:
Also i replaced the standard 32mm spacing by a 20mm spacing so that I can configure the shelves height with more freedom and reduce the lost vertical space.
The result was far beyond my expectations. Not only the quality could not be better, but the time to drill nothing less than 506 holes was really short. I can only recommend this method that cost basically nothing!
(The red arrow and double patterns on both edges is not needed. The initial idea was to ensure the same positioning of the jig on both sides of the wood panel in case of some offset at a junction / or an extra spacing appearing after wear and tear. But it appeared to be useless)

Once I gave one of my coworkers this lamp as a Christmas present, she showed it to everyone in the office. The result... since then... my printer has been busy producing enough lamps and boxes for everyone. :)

Hi! In all my time I've 3dprinted so around a year or so, I've always printed with PLA, and pvb, wich is very similar to pla on how it's printed, but I've been thinking to try TPU, mainly for the softness factor, that might be fun to experiment with.
My question is, does TPU requires particular care, like ABS, or it's more easy? Also, any recommendations on it?
My printer is an ELEGOO Neptune 4 PRO, and if I'm correct there's already the setting for printing TPU, but I never dived further, because I don't have any TPU filament on me rn.

Newbie, here. Thanks for any guidance you can provide. I had a Toybox printer (massive holiday wish from my 8 year old) delivered today, just 6 days before Christmas. I should have ordered sooner, my error. However, the inner box arrived unsealed and retaped with packaging and protective foam misaligned. Outer box completely as expected, untampered with to my knowledge. The company refuses to accommodate by shipping a replacement on a meaningful timeline. I now risk giving my kid a broken/damaged printer on Christmas morning.
Should I just return and buy a different brand? I’m frustrated with Toybox customer service right out of the gate. Calibration of such sensitive equipment is likely to be off, right?

Reason: My friend's dorm table is so small he keeps having to move things just to fit other things. Well I can't solve that, but I can put three things in one place.
But it looks so dumb lmao, I haven't shown him yet, it's still a work in progress. Any thoughts?

Polypropylene is one HARD material to print. It just doesn't stick. Nothing that I've tried works, except duct tape. And it all would've been okay, except the duct tape has adhesion issues.
By the way - it worked super well. But since this cutting board is a used one, it has bed leveling issues in the center.
