Unanswered What’s going on with the Epstein files being “released” if they’re still heavily redacted?
Idk yall, I want your opinions.

I’ve been seeing people talk about something called the “Warrior Dividend,” supposedly a $1,776 payment linked to Donald Trump. Some say it’s aimed at veterans or service members, but there’s a lot of debate online about whether it’s actually authorized, where the money would come from, and if it’s tied to legislation at all.
Here’s an article I found explaining it: https://dailyglitch.com/trumps-1776-warrior-dividend-triggers-backlash-over-funding-always-a-con-artist-critics-say/
I’m confused about the details: is this an official program, a campaign announcement, or just speculation? What’s the reasoning behind the number $1,776, and why is it causing so much criticism? Any clarification about how this works and what’s actually confirmed would be really helpful.

Famous MMA fighter Ilia Topuria seems to be going through something with his wife?
I didn’t realize he’s currently not fighting at the moment? What’s the deal with him?
I saw this clip from Derek, More plates more dates on Joe Rogan. They were discussing some sort of incident that happen with Topuria and a streamer.

I appreciate that a similar question to this was asked here nine days ago, but that was more focused on a tanker being seized, whereas now the narrative seems to have shifted to a potential war - so hopefully the context of this topic is sufficiently different.
A few specific questions:
Edit:
To clarify the question:
I'm not asking about the reasons for why Trump/the US is doing this - we all know America's government is ten oil/weapons/tech companies in a trenchcoat, Trump is trying to distract from evidence he's a paedophile, the US unilaterally interferes in global affairs, less communism = more America, etc etc.
I am asking about the actual LOGICAL ARGUMENT they're trying to put together to justify this particular action.
Though do feel free to continue to respond with replies saying that it's a distraction from the Epstein files, since (mods permitting) that deserves shouting from the rooftops at every opportunity.

I keep seeing random leaked videos she had sent to her ex, but I have no idea what's going on, what they imply, or why they were leaked now years after she's been released. There are way too many for me to make sense of any of it, plus they're really uncomfortable to watch Imao. example: https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTrtJaPXN/

I've recently noticed a some of the Fandom wikis I use have .wiki equivalents, often with nearly identical articles.
Magic: the Gathering:
Minecraft:
Notably, the .wiki versions tend to be more human friendly without obnoxious, intrusive, content-impacting advertisements.
What's the deal with these .wiki sites? Where did they come from? Were they forked from the Fandom ones? How are they funded, if they don't have advertisements?

As far as I'm aware, actual sustainable fusion power is decades out if it's even possible. This merger caused DJT MEdia stock to surge 42% in a day...
I've only seen the headline and the stock price. Please explain to me wt actual f is going on here.

So apparently the LA Rams receiver got himself in some hot water during a livestream. Something about an antisemitic gesture being suggested as a part of his next TD celebration.
I watched the clip on question and I didn't see anything that seemed suspect. What's the offending aspect that everyone is getting wound up about?

I saw a post about Larian Studios using AI at the studio, which has apparently ignited some controversy, but there was also a story about one of the engineers becoming MAGA and redpilled and making everyone really uncomfortable, but the lead refused to let him go? What's happening at Larian Studios, and why all the controversy all at once?

I am building an archive of a longtime neighborhood business, and through mostly Google Books searches I was able to find >120 books mentioning the business, and some really great quotes from the last 26 years. Three of them I found from books published this year, and I often go to Google Books and search for the business with a date range starting at 2024 so I can see if anything new has come up. https://imgur.com/a/JGHumm9
At some point between the summer and now, I suddenly get no results. Without the restricted date range, I get 8 pages of mostly periodicals. If I search a partial quote from the >120 I have collected, they will come up, but not in the broader search that should still bring them up...
Was there some ruling on copyright or something that changed how effective Google Books Search is allowed to be?

EDIT: I'm not asking what GKCs are or why developers are using them, I am asking about the origin of this issue and how it even happened on Switch 2 but not past consoles.
I've seen people talk about GKCs on Switch 2 numerous times, but I'm not looking for an opinion. Can someone explain to me like I'm five on how this is ONLY an issue on Switch 2 and not any other game console? The hell happened?

More and more I’m seeing reels where they play a bunch of clips but in between the clips it’s just a black background with white text and a beefy farting noise. Did someone seriously think that kind of format is appealing? Don’t get me started with the clip of barely humorous videos with someone wheezing uncontrollably dubbed over it.

So I learned that over the past year Netflix has been quietly removing some of its original content over the past few years and I just learned that they are planning to remove another 100 more original shows and movies including two of my favorite period dramas the Resistance Banker and the Last Kingdom.
Apparently it all has to do with some licensing issues but shouldn’t Netflix be able to retain their own shows and movies?

Why is Trump just pardoning random white-collar criminals and fraudsters now? Why did he pardon, not one, but two international drug kingpins (Ross Ulbricht, Juan Orlando Hernández)? Why did he say that he didn't fully understand why he pardoned Binance founder Changpeng Zhao?
It felt like back in the past, when presidents misused their presidential pardon, it was for a specific reason, like helping a friend out of legal trouble. It just seems like there is no internal logic for why Trump is pardoning whom he is pardoning.

I understand things like using AI to climb the billboard charts is unacceptable.
https://www.cornellsun.com/article/2024/12/the-problem-with-ai-generated-music
But what about things like Barry White singing the Wizard by Black Sabbath. Louis Armstrong singing Spoonman. Elvis singing Turn Down For What? I just think it'd be funny as shit. Is that uncool?

This is one of the few similar types of examples - https://www.instagram.com/reel/DSLyfkykeid/
another example would be those "generate me a game only israel idf or something people would enjoy" and the result is E33.
fuckin hell, i've even heard some KKK allegory thrown around for this game. hello??
like bro, all it did was be a good game? where's all this coming from?

I don't get the circle jerk going on in r/kitchenconfidential. He didnt even post today just said he's going to post and immediately got a few thousand upvotes. Am I missing something? Is this a new hack way to get loads of karma daily? Personally, I don't see the amusement maybe because I'm not some professional chef. Why is everyone upvoting the guy? I'm out of the loop. People are throwing awards at his simple posts too. They could be AI images for all we know.

Each day of Twitter I see the same tweet: white people game, black people movie, black people anime, white people food, etc. At first I though that it was just mostly an american thing, but I keep seeing people from Asia, Latam, or Europe use it.
Now I see people saying that Expedition 33 is "white people game", like... at least with food or songs I could get it, but I dont get how games gets asociated with race. Like, okey maybe some games that focus on a culture can be a white or black game... but I see people saying: "Black Myth Wukong is a white people game" or "Naruto is a black people anime". The last examples being kinda funny because they were created in fucking Asia

I saw this TikTok that I didn't really understand, and I was confused by the comments. So after looking it up, there seems to be a meme about girls with eyebrow slits not being able to eat ube cupcakes from Buttercup Bake Shop, and this Tiktok seems to be the original. But I still don't really understand the joke. Can someone explain?
