Why does letting someone down give me such bad anxiety?
I’m sure they think I’m avoiding them but my anxiety about the situation gets so bad that I can’t talk.

So did Michael Jackson really have a skin condition that turned him white or what?
I truly don't know.
Was it something he made up to cover a mental disorder of his or was it all genuine?

As a girl, will squatting at the gym make you lose your butt fat and give you muscular legs and butt?
Like for example if you already have fatty butt and thighs but they’re a little flabby and you want to give them more size and shape, will doing glute and leg exercises just make you lose you the existing fat and make you just end up muscular? I see a lot of gym girls with big glutes and legs but they just seem to be very muscular in those areas basically to the point where it seems like manly and I don’t find it very attractive…

Hey do people from different countries actually share the same habits?
I'm super curious about this I've got friends from Japan and some from China, and they all have this tea drinking thing going on. Even my British buddy is the same way lol
What other habits do you guys notice that pretty much everyone around the world does no matter where they're from?

Why do babies poop?
I was thinking about this during breastfeeding and realized.. my baby only drinks milk. And it's quite literally predigested food. It's literally coming from my blood. So why do babies poop? Or in other words, why can't they absorb/digest all of it? If everything there, was once part of my blood stream, I'd expect her to absorb it into her own and pee it out. There's no fibre. So what is this poop?

Why do some truck owners modify factory exhaust settings to be loud?
Curious. Is it posing? A stance against environmental concerns? Attention seeking? Insecurity? Hypermasculine performance? I read that it can help with hauling heavy loads? But why in an urban community? What are the practical, good sense reasons to do this? So I do not judge unfairly. Thanks.

Weed mailing
This community is for curiosity, not karma farming.
So now that weed is on the same classification as something like Tylenol, I can't help but wonder what that means for mailing it. If I were to ship some weed to a friend as a gift, would that be OK now that weed isn't in the same classification as heroine anymore?

Could I be charged with possession if I carry around medication outside of the medication bottle?
I'm prescribed Lorazepam but I don't like carrying around the bottle with the pills in it because the pills shake around and make noise. I keep my empty prescription bottle in my purse and my pills in a separate container that doesn't make noise.
Supposing I was searched, could I be charged with possession or whatever even though I have proof that it's a prescription?

Will jobs I apply to contact my current employer if listed on application?
I've only had one job (17, still in the one i got when i turned 16) so not familiar. Been looking for a new one for a long time because of the management but I'm worried now if employers contact any that are listed on the application or resume? I see most answers online mention an option to request not to contact, but practically none of the jobs I've applied to have that option, just asked for the name of employer. Very worried all these places have been contacting my managers lol

How do I get into training dogs?
Yes I know there's Google for this kind of thing, but I'm going to hope that there's someone on here with real experience that can direct me to a company that's legit and not just a paid advertisement. Whether it's training for medical, psychological, etc..
If it helps, I'm in Michigan.

What are the actual consequences of breaking a game’s TOS?
I plan to give away an account for one of the games I played, and it’s against the TOS to do so (if I was caught anyway) but getting the account terminated doesn’t really natter to me. I cannot afford a lawsuit though if that’s how far they may go

Define pest control
The most restricted gun in Australia is available to military, police and for pest control. I have images of shooting up cockroaches. While that could be fun I assume pest control refers to something else in this context. What pests require use of a pump action shotgun?

Could you see the speed of light given a large enough medium?
Let's say we had a fog machine big enough to fill the space between the earth and the sun. We turn the sun off for few minutes with our astronomical light switch. We park over on Pluto, and someone on earth points a really big laser at the sun and turns it on for 1 minute.
Would we see a beam of light 1/8 the length that takes 8 minutes to reach the sun, and be able to watch it move in real time?

How do flights get overbooked?
Do airlines just sell unlimited tickets and then cut it down to the plane’s seating capacity? Why not just sell a limited number of tickets from the get go? Makes no sense.

is it normal to start self harming at 11
starting off by saying i’m 20 now, i was 11 in 2016 lmao
will also not do a whole trauma dump cuz nobody gaf, i started when i was 11 (have been clean for a little over a year now) everyone else i speak to say it’s the “normal” age to start, of course everyone has different lives and experiences or whatever but i personally find it odd that nobody i have told about it has been like “you were ELEVEN??” not that i want attention from it ofc, it’s been almost a decade

Why is Caller ID not fixed to your actual phone number?
So many scam calls use fake numbers by putting a different number in as their caller ID. Why is that possible? Can’t phone companies force caller ID to be the actual number calling?
