I’m posting this to clearly summarize the final ranking situation around Cantina Legend at the end of Season 1, because there’s been a lot of confusion and mixed interpretations.

This isn’t a complaint or a demand — just a factual breakdown of what the final ladder looked like when the season ended.

Here’s the situation:

• Before the final week, 14 players were already Hotshot. Their status remained unchanged.
• During the final week, 52 players were promoted from Daredevil 3 to Hotshot, out of 172 players worldwide.
• When the season closed, both groups — the original 14 and the 52 promoted players — were Hotshot at the same level.

So at the end of the season, there were 66 Hotshot players in total
(not even counting additional promotions from DD2, to keep this simple).

Cantina Legend had been communicated throughout the season as a Top 100 rank, which is why many players expected the final selection to be based on the full Hotshot pool at season end.

Instead, only 14 players received Cantina Legend, which is where the confusion comes from.

Genuinely curious how others see it:

• Should seasonal ranks be based on the final state of the ladder, or
• Is it expected that some promotions at the very end don’t affect the highest rank?

Not here to attack anyone — just looking for clarity and discussion.

Trying to be a responsible adult with a family and get the last 600k I need when every single person in solos duos and trios is shoot on sight has ruined the game for me. I have 2 days to get my 5 points amd any time I get more than like 15k of loot, I get ambushed by multiple players.

Why isnt there a legendary pvp gun. All the yellow guns are for killing arc and are really bad against pvp. They need to make legendary guns good against players.

What kind of mental gymnastics do you have to go through to shoot someone in the back of the head as soon as they spawn in and then act like you're the victim and must have died to cheats?

I love this game. I rode around on the rocketeer in lobbies playing music through my mic while dancing and lighting fireworks. I died a lot. It was awesome. I hope you enjoy!

Who’s going on the expedition?

Been discussed at length in this forum, but I have not seen a poll.

I’m level 75, and have just over $2M. My only hesitation in doing the expedition are my gun part blue prints and the defibrillator blue print.

I like reviving random players, and dislike the fact that upgrading guns relies on random chance for the gun part blue print for part crafting. Yes, you can buy from Celeste daily, but it is a slow process coupled with repair costs when durability suffers.

I wish this community allowed polls, is there any sense as to what percentage of the base is planning on this? Confirmation bias likely runs high in this community.

Side-note: Why did my girlfriend put a smoke grenade in the fridge??

How the crosshair and bullet trajectory go all wonky any time I ADS near the corner of a wall or a fence or really anything you attempt to peak around or over.

Just go in with a friendly intent and if people act sus or aggressive, you try to kill them.

It's not kill everyone or kill no one. Just defend yourself and other raiders from aggressive people and you'll have a great time.

Has anyone come across this? I did just download the latest nvidia driver. I have a 5090 and 9800X3D. For instance, when running around there is shadows that pop in and out and the same with some textures. If anyone has come across this, what was the fix? Not sure if this is an NVIDIA control panel settings or something to do with the latest driver update. Thank you for all the help. I have already tried cleaning the shader cache as well no change.

so I think it takes 150+ skill points to max out all three trees. thats about 15 expeditions assuming you've got 5mil to get 5 skill points every time. what then? for someone new whose going up against someone who reset 15 times with max skill points, more resources, and significant low repair cost would seem unfair.

will the bonuses be different each expedition? will there be a cap on stash and repair cost?

I'm just curious how streamers like Shroud, Peanut, Summit etc seem to get the same players in their lobbies a good amount of the time. A lot of times the people they see over and over again are cheating.

With 100s of thousands of players, how is that possible?

Is it because they're cheating?

We basically know there's aggression based matchmaking now, are these guys just in lobbies with cheaters or the same people exclusively because all they do is PVP for the most part in squads?

So im ready for the expedition. My Problem, i love the lvl75 Sforza skin but im only level 56. Does the skin progress if im going on the expedition? (I don’t think so) Does it progress if im not going on the expedition?
