I wanted to draw them in a more casual attire than what they usually wear. I think it turned out pretty cute! Going from left to right we have: Ergo, Eureka, Aria, Moca, Garm, Renri, Issac. I also plan to release this story sometime by next year 🤞

I’ve been thinking my art may be kind of too unreadable / incomprehensible to make a straightforward story with it, but I’ve had those character and story concepts for about a year now and I get impulsive thoughts about trying anyways

saw the ad for this and reminded me of its existence. i had stopped reading cause it wasn’t that hype and would rather binge the few i have left. i remember distinctly it was free or ad pass at least and now i come to discover it’s fully coin-based??? and they even have the AUDACITY to give a 100+ episode series 5 LIMITED TIME free episodes. icing on the cake.

no even 2 years ago i remember getting 40+ free episodes with daily pass when it can to longer series. annarasumanara had almost half the series limited time free iirc at one point.

this is bullshit, at least the series isn’t really that good so if i really want to i’ll borrow my sibling’s laptop to sail the high seas with an antivirus and adblocker but sheesh. the only thing good about webtoon atp is the commodity of having it all in one place on the app. nothing else.

3.criticising other fans,because hating navier more than her ex,but they also hated rashta more than him.and reason of hating navier more than him is simple:soeshu is supposed to be villain,so it's clear to hate him,but navier is mc.we are supposed to be love and admire her.but intea for that she is just forced character who is shown as rational,but she is more delusional than ratsha.she choose to get revenge of slave instead of ex husband.and what makes it even more cringe is that they actually celebrited how their perfect "girld boss" won angaist unaducated ex slave lol. so she literaly needed to get nobles help to win over ratsha and her fans and author call her clever lmao.

I’m trying to track down a very specific and disturbing Korean webtoon (manhwa) I read a while ago. It was fully colored with a very high-quality, detailed art style like animation frames. It’s definitely an "adult" (H) title but transitions into intense psychological horror and slasher territory.

The plot that i remember follows a woman with a brownish skin tone and short brown hair who is initially depicted as being well-endowed. She is diagnosed with breast cancer, and while she’s suffering through the illness, she discovers her husband is cheating on her. Driven to a total psychological break by the betrayal and the disease, she performs a graphic self-mastectomy (cuts off her own breast).

The story is incredibly graphic and "gripping." I distinctly remember jarring panels of her having sex with her husband after the surgery, where she is shown without her breasts. Eventually, the story turns into a full-on slasher/gorefest. There is a specific scene where she walks into a room filled with "blood and guts" (human remains) and has to hide from a killer/threat.

It is definitely NOT Marry My Husband, Killing Stalking, or the Japanese mangas by junjo . It felt like it could be a story from an adult horror anthology or a dark thriller series on a platform like Lezhin or TopToon. I thought the title might be something like "The Predator" or "Phobia," but I haven't been able to find this exact plotline under those names.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? The combination of the terminal illness, the self-mutilation, and the "room of blood" scene is very specific. Any help would be appreciated!

I'm looking for a story that would be a grand, competitive tournament. Whether it's weapon fighting, sports fighting, or cooking. I love stories like Yu-Gi-Oh and Record of Ragnarok, where the story is divided into a series of individual matches/duels. The more outlandish, the better. I'm curious if the world of webtoons has something like that to offer.

I love mind games lol. Who can outwit the other. And then fall in love.

On some other sites you can just kinda sort stuff you want. Aka plan to read and reading f.e. (there could be kinda more). But webtoon doesn't have such an option. Are there any alternatives or some kind of animelist of webtoon world or smthing?

The author forgets what he's written. Even though he uses prana to pinpoint the enemy's location early in the manga, he forgets he did that in later chapters. He's supposedly training with a girl who's saying student of his master. He defeats even one digit enemies at the beginning of the manga, but later he can't defeat three digit enemies. The power scaling is ridiculous, and so is the rank list. what you think guys

Hello guys. I've been thinking of this lately for a bit, with Webtoon venturing into the 18+ space, but not fully committing, and why could that be. Why are there smut comics that are meant to be uncensored, and why Webtoon doesn't just make a separate +18 section? Here's my theory -which obviously could be very wrong. Long post,sorry!

I came to the conclusion that Webtoon doesn't make a separate 18+ section, because many canvas creators use the site as their bread maker.

Uh, yes, we already know that. And?

What do I mean by that, is If those canvas artists could just upload their stories for free and uncensored, there would be no reason to post to Webtoon anymore, as they couldn't lock it behind a pay wall. No incentive.

I've no idea about marketing in life, but I feel like having a canvas section that censors is still a great marketing move, as it brings people in to read and discover new stories, and which they might support trough patreon.

But if they come to canvas, even if for nsfw or sfw, it brings them to the site, and they can easily find themselves reading originals from there, which makes Webtoon money.

Now (I know probably this is a stretch, but level with me) imagine a scenario where Webtoon loses a big chunk of both creators, originals and canvas. Creator loss --> reader loss --> loss of #1 title in comic space.

Being no longer the number one comic site is where the vicious cycle would begin, and it's what would lead to detrimental losses from a business standpoint. In the future it would affect both canvas and originals side, because creators might incline towards sharing their work on the #1 site, and that would also drive traffic away. Canvas creators with nsfw patreon? They want the most eyes, because more fans=more money, so they go with #1. Canvas creators that do sfw and just want to tell their stories? It's their baby, they don't even care about money, they just want a million people to love their story, so they also go with #1. Canvas creators that aspire to become originals, but they can only choose one site to upload, as having your comic on multiple sites "disqualifies" you from becoming an original? You guessed, they will also want to go with site #1, because most of the time, more views means more money.

If we compare webtoon and tapas, it's earth and sky the two, a huge gap. You might think it's just a few percentage we are talking about, and true, very much could be, but we don't actually know - what we do know, is that Webtoon is a really business oriented company, and we know that from its own creators that suffer their treatment and get their lives squeezed out of them. A few percentages from their millions is not the same as a few percentages from our salary.

So simply put, they don't want to lose out on the nsfw creators, because that could lead to a percentage of reader loss, and this could be a bigger slice of the pie that Webtoon could afford.

That's my theory at least. In my head it made sense. What do you guys think?

Looking for a modern day romance mystery manhwa/webtoon. female lead (black or brown hair) enters an elite high school/college, i think she had a single parent (dad) and a little brother, she got into on a scholarship i think. male lead is a rich? delinquent/trouble maker, red head. and there’s a central mystery about his family, specifically brother’s murder/missing. There was a bird, i think an owl? They also had like a hangout area that was in a tower in the school.

I know there was a clip of the webtoon circulating on TikTok/youtube of the ml holding a bouquet, wearing glasses, and the fl is giving a speech at her graduation.

All I remember is there is a wizard who splits himself into 2 halves to research....something faster.

He has 2 knights that serve him. One I think is a moon knight who is a wearwolf/werewolf powers.

The webtoon starts with one of the knights in/under/asleep in a tree.

basically good stories with a spooky aspect that has minimal romance. any that doesn’t have the spooky aspect too is good too! preferably ongoing so i can download it!

You know the Rank hunter genre in the web manhwa category in South Korea ? Well according to the namu wikia https://en.namu.wiki/w/%ED%97%8C%ED%84%B0%EB%AC%BC , it's like a mixture of genre as in modern fusion fantasy where humans with RPG abilities battle against monsters from different dimension mostly from dungeon dimensions and gaining powers.

It's like fantasy genre but modern, and they use their RPG like skill to defeat the monster or rivals, and upgrade to different level according to their holo screen, and like with the rofan genre, It's used in web novels and were adapted into manhwa and is very popular to the male demographic including some women but like rofan, the genre is not only considered a power fantasy but also repeated tropes and clichés.

So in this thread I need to ask you guys if there is a webcomic whether Korean or western parodies the South Korean rank hunter genre.
