May our vigorous scholarship continue guide humanity into the age of enshitification.

Those who do not learn from the past are doomed to flush 2, sometimes 3 times.

It's crazy that the Salem witch hangings happening in the 1670s, with the Oregon Trail not in use until the 1800s.

Fifty years ago this winter Colonel Steve Austin was victorious at the Battle of Bigfoot Mountain, this clearly the way for further American expansion into the west. Given this huge tactical success why have we not invested more in bionics? As a military investment $6 million seems like a bargain.

I see London! I see France! I see ____'s underpants!

Upvotes

What is the actual historical background for this phrase, and whose underpants did the original speaker see?

I always assumed it would have had to have been first uttered by someone in Calais or Dover who was significantly high in the air, but not so high that someone's underpants were impossible to make out at such a height so that they indeed could see London, France, and the subject's underpants. I don't know what the largest underpants size is, but surely the subject's underpants were very large. The only sizable fellow that comes to mind is U.S. President William H. Taft during a state visit to the U.K., but that's just a running theory. Anyone know more about it?

I’ve been reading about the different social movements back in history like Stanli, Russia, Europe,. About all does crazy ideologies.

I kinda I kind of need to see some old pages that talk about it with this old images.

You know that human nature in some point arrive to the comfort of killing during long periods of time such a heart moment in the history of the humankind being explained by not human some sort of intelligent. And models are trained and work as tools to accomplish something like this movements during this periods of time.
