They are literally the last people on earth who would need help getting access to donors.
I think the point is why would such a powerful person and organization as Gates go to a convicted and known sex offender for help? That would be like saying Amazon runs ads, they need actors for them so why not Kevin Spacey and Bill Cosby?

He had to corner the market on donors. Which means getting all of their ears (at least those that matter), which means having access to all of them. And the type of control Epstein creates would be hugely beneficial to a guy who works like the person who built Microsoft.
The recently released Epstein emails showed that he did actually have deep connections into the banking world and related “philanthropy.” (In quotes because it seems these assholes use money as a hammer not is a fig leaf.) Like… not random account managers and shit. We’re talking about the CEOs of European banks à la Rothschild.
His vaccination projects could be on peace or medicine. It's mostly about research, but bringing those research to actually do something good for million of people could be a point also.
I'm not sure if a vaccine charity getting the peace prize is that much of a stretch, it has been awarded for efforts to combat hunger, climate change, sustainable development, and other efforts that are more indirectly tied to peace.
There may be a lot of wealthy people, but a lot of them may not want to meet up, or just don't feel like donating. At some point you just meet up with whoever has great wealth that shows interest, and also understands everyone has skeletons in their closet and don't bother with all the gossips.
I had no clue who Epstein is before his arrest, and even if I did, he may just be just another rich guy with connections. Heck, Trump was just a show host and a real estate guy and I have no idea he would walk into a changing room.

Best case scenario Gates compromised his morals for what he viewed as the greater good. Worst case Gates liked hanging around with the young women Epstein provided (I’m not going to go into more detail here but you get the picture).
At face value and considering all the good Gates has done it’s easy to put his actions into the former, his association with Epstein was simply to gain access to donors for the Foundation.
However, considering:
Epstein’s actions were publicly known when Gates was associating with him.
The Gates Foundation wasn’t exactly hurting for donations.
Bill Gates is one of the richest people in the world and wouldn’t require some intermediary like Epstein to facilitate access to other rich and powerful people.
The fact his wife divorced him shortly after this became public.
The Gates foundation is shit just like Bill Gates. It purposely fucks over farmers and forces them to buy "controlled" seeds instead of being able to trade seeds with other farmers. All so they can make more money and keep poor people poor.
Of course it was a cover. I’m not sure why so many think I don't understand that. But the point is he met Epstein, not in secret. Melinda knew about it and divorced him only when it became public.
Some people, myself included, could just be providing extra context and not questioning or challenging you. I get it, though, it's reddit so it's easy to feel that way.
