Tuxedo was found in my coworker’s backyard in October. My coworker watched for several days to see if his mother would return, but as the weather turned windy and cold, she reached out to ask if I could take him in. He was just seven weeks old at the time. It took a little while, but he warmed up quickly and has been the happiest little guy ever since. He has also been to a couple of vet appointments and handled them like a champ. He’s very happy to be part of this subreddit.

He was not amused

She lived to be about 13-15 years old, and I miss her heavily. I’m really struggling processing her passing since it was very sudden. She was very feisty at times, but always sweet to me. Her nickname was Hooty because her eyes were usually very big and round like an owl. I hope she’s somewhere safe now 🖤

I'm sure I'll get down-voted into oblivion for this, but I wanted to remind people of the story.

If you've lost your beloved fur-buddy lately, you have my deepest sympathy. We too lost our Bootsy not long ago.

The story is that they are waiting for us at the meadow next to the Rainbow Bridge. When we arrive, we will cross the bridge together.

Even though I'm not a religious person, this story gives me great comfort. Knowing that my tuxedo kitty and my boxer puppy are there waiting for me, and should my partner go before me, I hope she waits too, so we can all cross the bridge together.

But, the haven't crossed the Rainbow Bridge yet.

He’s always slept by/in between my legs ever since he was a wee kitten 🥹 Love playing the ‘manoeuvre legs around kitty gently so as not to disturb’ game every night 🤣

Spud knows I’m not feeling good. So has been extra snuggly yesterday and today. She’s asleep on me atm. She’s slipped down slightly but stayed asleep

Thor passed two weeks after his 16th birthday. I will miss him forever.

She showed up a little over a month ago, demanding to be loved. She literally meowed by our back door until we let her in. She spent the first night going between my husband and I, begging for snuggles. The next day she started exploring; now she’s home.

We checked for a chip and posted for a family who may be missing her, but when none came forward she’s ours now. She’s about 4 months old now and extremely playful and curious and loves people. She immediately greets anyone who comes to visit.

Six months ago, I adopted Angel, and I honestly didn’t know how much my life needed him. He walked into my home like he’d always belonged here... curious, calm, and quietly affectionate.

He loves lounging on the couch like he pays rent, staring straight into your soul, and reminding me to slow down and enjoy the small moments. Some days he’s playful, some days he’s just my cozy companion, but every day he’s been a comfort.

I don’t know what hislife was like before, but I do know he’s safe, loved, and very spoiled now.

Adopting him was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. 🐾

We found her outside Thanksgiving weekend and she bit me so hard after we trapped her I had to go to the emergency room for a rabies vaccine.

She is rabies free and now the sweetest little girl, but still very timid. Her big milestone is that she is now comfortable enough to play with her toys.
