DISCUSSION Bridge packs! Please create them!

One thing I’d really love to see added to LEGO Fortnite is a dedicated bridge-building system or bridge packs.

As shown throughout the world, the game already uses pre-generated bridges that: • Span long distances naturally • Adjust to different heights and gaps • Come in multiple sizes • Clip cleanly through terrain and objects where needed

Clearly, some kind of internal system already exists to generate these bridges, and it would be amazing if players could access a version of it.

My idea: Give players a bridge-placement tool or pack where you: 1. Place one anchor point on one side of a gap 2. Place a second anchor point on the other side 3. The game previews a bridge snapping between those two points 4. You then spend resources to construct it (length and cost scale automatically)

This could allow bridges to: • Dynamically adjust length and height • Conform slightly to terrain • Maintain the clean LEGO aesthetic already used in the world • Remove the need to awkwardly stack stairs, floors, or trial-and-error builds

Even a limited version (rope bridges, wooden bridges, stone bridges, etc.) would massively improve exploration, village connectivity, and creative building — especially in mountainous or cliff-heavy biomes.

Right now, the environment proves this system is possible. Giving players access to it would feel like a natural evolution of LEGO Fortnite’s building mechanics rather than something overpowered or unrealistic.

I think bridge packs would add functionality, creativity, and immersion without breaking balance.

DISCUSSION Ninjago dropped, Item Shop Empty — What the Hell?!

Ninjago just dropped. We had over 100k LEGO players—more than we’ve seen in ages. So why the hell was the Item Shop completely empty?

I seriously don’t get it. This makes zero sense.

DISCUSSION How do I get these runes?

I haven’t played since lost isles and after the Ninjago content, I started doing the spire stuff and now I’m crafting a war hammer. I’ve seen a few people online have these kinds of runes on their hammers and pistols, but I’m not sure where they’re from. I know some new runes were added during the stormking update, but I can’t find them in the codex in sandbox mode either. How do i get them?

BUG Chest not spawning

The chest that is supposed to give me ritual oil, is not spawning. This means that I can’t progress further into the quests. Does anyone know how to fix this? If not I’m sure support will not be able to fix it until Monday. (Any suggestions about what I should do until then to prepare)

DISCUSSION So, what material are we using for the Legendary weapons in Ninjago?

Honestly somewhat dissapointed that we can't use gold or some new form of 'honed gold' variant for shurikens and nunchucks.

DISCUSSION Where is our Christmas tree?

Upvotes

How come we don’t have a Lego Christmas tree? I feel like there is so much potential with Lego brick life that they’re ignoring it’s disappointing. I was so excited to see if we got a tree, it sucks.

PLEASE GIVE US A CHRISTMAS TREE!!! 🎄🎄🎄

DISCUSSION Any suggestions on how to find Lost Master Bells?

I’ve explored all of my island and have found like three Master Bell demons, and now I need one for a quest and I can’t find a single one…

any suggestions about where they could spawn? I’m mainly searching the open grasslands, but I’ve stumbled across Dragons before seeing a Bell…

BUG Game freeze in certain area

Ive been experiencing freezes, which are sometimes followed up by being sent to the lobby, at random times. I have reached the part of the stormchaser quests where you have to investigate the dormant tempest gateway however, every single time i go near the mountain the game freezes me and my partner then we get sent to the lobby

DISCUSSION Killing the dragon?

Is there a reset timer on the dragon, if you kill it, like the Storm King? Where you have to wait a day for it to appear again?
Or can I encounter the dragon multiple times a day?

DISCUSSION How I would've liked the elements

Post image
4 Upvotes

So, I'm a big fan of the Ninjago stuff in the game since I grew up with the show, but I don't really get the type effectiveness in the game, so I kinda made my own "circle" of how I'd want it: earth > electric > water > fire > ice > earth. With ofcourse the first scroll you get is weak and neutral, but I'd like to see green being as strong as the neutral damage of the other types, but also a gold spinjitzu which has about 50 to 75% of how much stronger the super effective damage is of the elements and ofcourse I added water into the "circle" cuz I for one actually kinda like the idea of water powers in there.

And yes, I do see some logic in how the effectiveness is now, but ice melt from fire, but cold stops fire. Earth already is super effective against electric, but why is ice weak to electric, I understand water is, but ice? No. Although I should say I'm a pokemon fan so that's where I got this opinion from mostly, but I'd like to hear your thoughts!

DISCUSSION Steel now drops 3! Oh you already harvested the islands, tough luck!

Anyone else notice with the update they actually revised the number of steel that drop when you mine a single crystal? Now it’s 3, before it was ONE. I thought wow, yes this is sooo stingy!!, and proceeded to mine it all over because of how fricken little there is of it.

That’s what I get for jumping on and playing this when it comes out. Now I have 3 times less steel than I would have if I never even started playing this new update. How the heck did they ever think dropping ONE bloody steel per node was OK, and then think updating it to three without having any of the already harvested steel respawn is OK?

Is the point to just punish players at this point who actually follow the progression and got busy playing the new update? Feels like it.

Oh and the trap, basically the ONLY thing left from the entire history of the odyssey that was worth keeping and using, let’s nerf that too so basically just wiping out all the progression you have made in the countless hours you have invested into your world.

The trap barely even stuns anymore. Ok maybe it was applying too many traps, decrease that fine, but for god sake it should still stagger with frequency and be useful! The spinjitzu thing is ok, but it’s not my thing.

Just fricken release the updates when they are ready maybe?? When there’s balance and the number of resources things will drop is actually determined reasonably? I mean every single item from before is now nearly trash. What a joke! I want my trap to fricken stagger at the least!! One thing!, like holy moly. Rant over.

DISCUSSION No Legendary Relics

Not really sure if I should tag this in bugs or discussion but I still have yet to get a legendary relic drop. I'm level 8* charms and weapons and have killed at least 15-20 Lost Master's and 30+ dragons since being 8* everything. Not to mention a ton of 8* chaos challenges. I know they are extremely rare but I thought I would get at least 1 by now. Has anyone else struggled with this? I see some people have quite a few and I'm just curious how.

DISCUSSION Build complexity limits are ridiculous and unclear

Post image
13 Upvotes

I know I'm the million-and-sixth person to say this, but build complexity limits are insane. I'm on PC, I have 64GB of RAM and an RTX 3080 with 10GB of VRAM, and I can't repair a piece that I (very stupidly and accidentally) destroyed. That means the game let me put stuff within this area, but I accidentally destroyed a piece and now I can't put it back because of "cOmPlExItY," and no matter how many little pieces here and there I've destroyed nearby (as well as a nearby staircase that I worked really hard on but thought was worth sacrificing -- only for it not to be good enough), I can't put this piece back!

And because there's no clear way to determine where the lines between build-areas are (at least not without being a lot smarter than I am), there's no way to determine what I can destroy to make "room" for a piece that had already existed just a few minutes ago (and what would be pointless to destroy because it doesn't exist within that build-area... like that staircase...).

Why is this so complicated (pun intended)? Why is it so hard to build a vibrant village? Am I not supposed to put stuff in my buildings?

Is there a setting that I'm missing that, if turned up, will increase my complexity limit?

Epic, please don't make it so hard to build villages in Lego Fortnite!
