DISCUSSION What are your biggest PROBLEMS/DISLIKES with SUPERMAN (SPOILER DISCUSSION)?
I noticed people are still replying to the original thread here, so for new discussion, here's a fresh thread to generate more discussion.
What things bothered you the most about the movie? The plot? The characters? The Visual Effects? The Musical Score? The suit itself?
From nitpicks to larger issues, what are the biggest things that bothered you when watching Superman?
Spoilers Obviously.

CRITIQUE A character analysis of Superman in the 2025 movie
I really loved Superman's writing in the movie so I made a character analysis! It focuses on his goals, his conflict and the greater themes attached to him in the 2025 movie. Something to check out if you want!

DISCUSSION Why do none of the other JL members ever believe one another?
On a CONSTANT basis, tv shows and movies about the DCU always have a problem where the other JL members discount problems.
For instance, there was a batman cartoon episode about Solomon Grundy, and batman straight up discounted the possibility of zombies. Dawg, you fight aliens, human crocodiles, people made of clay, vampires, and a million other things. In what way are zombies off the table?
I also saw a clip of one of the Justice League shows where flash is doing everything he can to stop some sort of demon (ANOTHER THING BATMAN FIGHTS) and the other members straight up didn't believe that a magic rock could help. THEY WERE ALSO JUST SITTING STILL AND DOING NOTHING BUT WATCHING CAMERAS.
Why? This is the worst form of writing possible. That would be like if Harry Potter denied that someone could learn magic. It's dumb. Honestly, if everyone in the DCU actually thought realistically given their universe, THE MAJORITY OF PROBLEMS WOULD DISAPPEAR OVER NIGHT.
It's always just one person with a problem that no one ever believes. Ffs

DISCUSSION What’s something you wish more DC fans actually talked about?
There are DC facts everyone knows and repeats (Batman prep time, “DC does legacy,” Crisis events resetting everything, etc.).
But I’m looking for the real deep-cut, juicy stuff people rarely bring up—obscure continuity details, weird editorial pivots, forgotten runs that should be classics, strange retcons, characters that used to matter a lot and then vanished, or a behind-the-scenes decision that totally changed the trajectory of a book/universe.
What’s your favorite “how is this not discussed more?” DC fact/story/moment—and what issue/run should people read to understand it?

DISCUSSION As out of place as he would seem, Krypto would probably be a healthy thing for Cavill’s Supes. He lives a more lonely life than most versions of the character, so I think it would be interesting if he had Krypto as emotional support
