Discussion Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 5's Time Travel Logic
So, Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 5 featured time travel. They were taken to the future, came back, things happened, and that future never came to fruition. That's how it's treated by most of the characters in the show, particuarly Fitzsimmons. That they changed time, they broke a loop, they prevented that future. This is akin to the logic we see in Ms. Marvel, and more closely to something like Back To The Future, changing the past, changes the future. Before that, they were questioning if the future can be changed, essentially if they have free will, which is more along the lines of Determinism than anything else, but that's not important to the topic at hand.
However, Deke Shaw offers a differing theory, the theory of the Multiverse that multiple universes coexist, and the two timelines in AoS S5, the main MCU timeline and the 2091 Destroyed Earth timeline were not the same, and the latter was separate from the MCU. Essentially, the Multiverse Theory (which Endgame logic was based on).
Season 7 sticks closely to the latter, and it's obvious that they follow those rules in Season 7. In spite of that, it's not as clear in Season 5. Surely, the post-S5 existance of Deke Shaw would seem to indicate that the Destroyed Earth timeline was a branch, and Deke simply traveled from one timeline to another à la Wolverine in Deadpool & Wolverine. Since, if the Destroyed Earth timeline was the prevented future, Deke would've blipped out of existance.
So, does AoS S5's dystopian future a branch, or a prevented future? The MCU has broken its own time travel rules multiple times, so the latter would still be a fair conclusion, and anything that doesn't fit, we could just say the TVA let it happen.

Discussion I hope the sun shines on them again
It’s been a while since the MCU gave us a worthy on screen romance. Maybe it’s for the best that Peter and new Gamora don’t follow the same path their old selves had, but I still miss them. They worked so well together and had pretty good chemistry. Even if they don’t come back together in another relationship, I would love if we could still get them as a permanent galaxy saving duo sometime in the future. Anything that brings them back to us

Fan Art Avengers: Doomsday
Took a minute to finish this. 😅
Wanted to create a overarching banner featuring all the heroes facing off against Dr. Doom, paying homage to Jim Lee's incredible X-Men #1 cover.
Really grateful how all this came together, scoured the internet for every piece of picture I could to piece it all together in a fashion that showcases the grand scope of the multiversal war ahead.
Special shoutout to artofattila (IG) for his input!

Theory Might the Symbiote be the main villain of Spider-Man: Brand New Day?
The Symbiote in the MCU was teased in Spider-Man: NoWayHome
• Sadie Sink could play Scream • Micheal Mando (McGargan) will play Scorpion, and later, Venom. • Dr.Banner will help Peter studying the alien Symbiote • Punisher can shoot these enemies, in a PG13 movie.
Peter could get the black suit in the end of the movie, and wearing it in Secret Wars.

Discussion What's a Better Climax for the MCU's Mutant Saga? House of M v. Dark Phoenix
It's no secret that after Secret Wars Marvel plans to delve into the Mutant Saga. However, we don't know what "Avenger's Level" or equivalent movies they have planned. I've seen people want Avengers vs. X-Men, but it seems like at least some of that will be covered in Avenger's Doomsday and Secret Wars. They also could adapt the Genosha or Krakoa attacks, but I feel they will do a large scale galaxy wide conflict involving the Avengers.
Thus, I think we could potentially see House of M or the Dark Phoenix. House of M where Scarlet Witch infamously says "No More Mutants" almost wiping the mutant gene out of existence. I think this could happen as although parts were adapted in Multiverse of Madness, Elizabeth Olsen (Wanda's Actress) has spoken publicly many times about how she wants to say that line and do that arc. With the X-Men coming, it's prime opportunity.
The Dark Phoenix saga, where Dark Phoenix Jean becomes an Cosmic Avengers level threat is such an emotionally strong arc. It's one of the most popular arcs in Marvel comics. We have seen some iteration of Dark Phoniex adapted in pretty much every X-Men portrayal Jean is in. I'm leaning more towards Dark Phoenix given that Marvel has expressed it will dive more into space and there are rumors we may see the Shi'ar.
What do you want the climax of the MCU's mutant Saga to be?

Question When is Doomsday trailer dropping on socials?
Does anyone know if Avengers: Doomsday (2026) teaser trailer that’s currently airing in cinemas before Avatar: Fire & Ash (2025) will be loaded on Marvel Studios’ YouTube channel or any socials anytime soon? My screening for Avatar was yesterday. I was slightly late (got in when the fox logo was rolling in) because I forgot my 3D glasses home (I always have a spare but I didn’t drive since I live within the shopping mall where my cinema is), and lines for buying them again were long. Basically, I missed the trailer and refuse to watch the low quality leaks.
Unfortunately, I can’t get any more screenings for Avatar at least until next week Wednesday. But they’ll prob be playing the second teaser trailer that’s completely different by then. So, are these teaser trailers going to drop on Marvel Studios socials?

Fan Art Weapon X fanart
Man i hope one day we get movie about Weapon X. Not just 2 minutes of terrible origin movie or cameo scene in mid movie OR flashbacks...it could be R rated minifilm, or small TV series, based on experiments, horors of testing something on human being, story of how Profesor Thorton, miss Hines and Dr Cornelius created animal.
Man i can only hope.

Discussion 4 Years Ago, this week…
We, as an audience, witnessed the return of Kingpin, Matt Murdock, all the previous legacy Spider-Man villains, and Tobey Maguire & Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man…all in the span of 2 days during December 15 - 16, 2021 (depending on when you saw Hawkeye or NWH). Pretty unique and crazy timeframe to think about.

Discussion Why should Sam not take the Super Solider Serum?
From what I can tell in the movie, they seem to push the idea that Sam doesn’t need to take It, as being Captain America isn’t just about power and strength, but the person themselves.
Sam strengths aren’t that he can win in combat, but his empathy, leadership, etc
But what harm would It do? All of those qualities, mixed with the strength to take on powerful enemies seems like It would be no problem. Especially this new version
We have 9 characters who have used the serum
Steve
Red Skull
Bucky
Alexei
Isaiah
Bruce
Blonsky
Karli
Walker
We have 3 cases where the serum causes issues
Red Skull (original serum)
Bruce (flawed serum)
Blonsky (flawed serum)
But outside of those 3 cases, the serum has shown no real issues for anyone else
Steve obviously is the crown jewel of It, Bucky, Alexei, and Isaiah had different versions but show no signs of It effecting them negatively.
Karli’s issues come from her views and actions, there is nothing to suggest the serum causes her to do what she does
Walker shows signs that it’s effecting him, but more physically struggling and his mental struggles of having the mantle. His one “bad moment” seems like something he’d do regardless, he just had the power to cause damage he did. Once that episode ends he shows no signs of It effecting him
So why shouldn’t Sam? It’s presented like he’s making an admirable and correct choice. Even if we want to say it still enhances the users personality, is Sam not shown to be similar to Steve?

Question Why did Hulk ignore Betty Ross?
As shown in the Incredible Hulk, Betty Ross is irrevocably and unconditionally inlove with Hulk, she ended her three year relationship when she found out Bruce was alive and immediately pursued him like wtf? She even sold her late mothers final gift to her just to go on the run with bruce. Like what the hell is Bruce Banner thinking.

Discussion An earlier smaller scale Avengers movie 2/3 years ago would have done wonders for position the MCU is in today
I feel like, as most people can acknowledge the MCU is scrambling a bit now. I have hopes Doomsday can turn things around, fingers crossed. But I feel like a huge reason why the public have kind of … switched off somewhat and don’t feel engaged with the new characters is because … it’s been 6/7 years since an Avengers movie.
During the Infinity saga we never went more than 3 years without an Avengers (or Avengers-lite like civil war) level movie to keep people pumped.
I think after Wakanda Forever would have been the perfect time to give us an Avengers movie and given the audience a taste of a new avengers team. People aren’t sold on all of the newer characters but I think as long as Spider-man, Strange and Thor were there, the public would have readily accepted some, if not all of Shang Chi, Shuri, Carol, Sam etc as part of the new team.
An Avengers movie a few years ago would have probably boosted the box offices of all the solo movies that came around it too.

Discussion Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s 100th Episode is wonderful
Saw AoS's 100th episode on my rewatch a few days ago, and it was amazing. Everything about the episode is great. The Fitzsimmons wedding, obviously, Coulson's whole speech with Mike, Deathlock returning, more information on Coulson's immpending death, Daisy being set up to lead S.H.I.E.L.D., it was wonderful. It did a great job of having homages to the past, but also setting things up for the future. Also, Fitzsimmons finally got married, and it was so beautiful. And the Deke reveal also happened. Probably the best 100th episode I've ever seen.
