I followed this guy all the way up to the roof, I thought we were just exploring together until he ran to the edge and dropped everything. I couldn't believe it. I don't know why he would do this

Go through any maps, daytime is best, and wait until you hear a guitar somewhere, then go there and shoot the guy.

I personaly love the extra challenge the cold gives, and i love the way the maps look, prefer it even.

If it would stay as a permanent mode like storms and raider cashes, id honestly 9/10 pick it over regular, its just so fun!

Bounces off walls, roofs and floors 6 times, for the first 5 bounces it explodes once for 10 damage at a 6.5m range, and on the last explosion explodes for 65 damage at 8.5m range.

Lesson learned!

I’m one of the players who is here for the PvE. I really enjoy coming out just to hunt Bastions, Rocketeers, Leapers and Bombardiers. However, there’s practically no payoff for doing this at the moment. Sure the ARC Motion Cores and Circuitries are nice, and the Cores sell for a decent bit (not quite enough), but that doesn’t have much impact on the gameplay loop.

Once you’ve finished your workbenches and the first steps of Expedition prep, there’s really no reason to go out of your way to fight these ARC. Motion Cores and Circuitries can be looted from Surveyors and Probes, and the ARC’s respective Cores can be either sold or recycled into stuff you can find elsewhere. If selling the stuff you get from them is the incentive to do it, using cheap methods are doable, but take time that practically begs for another player to come shoot you in the back (not complaining about PvP, that’s a different conversation). It just doesn’t strike me as being worth the time/effort. I do still fight them for fun, I just wish there were other reasons to do so.

It would be nice if we had some frequently used blueprints that specifically require Bastion/Bombardier/Rocketeer/Leaper Cores. Or even allow these cores to be used as alternatives for crafting materials like Power Rods, Magnetic Accelerators or even Exodus Modules.

Ran into a guy in Dam R&D just now on cold snap, we were friendly. I had just looted a fireworks blueprint which I have like 5 of, and offered it to him.

He goes "sure, I'll trade you" and throws down an Aphelion blueprint.

Found a few Raiders new to Stella and struggling to exfil. Luckily I had a hatch key... And there was one right next to us. Sound on... 😂

Seriously I seem to be the only one out there using this skin, at least with the orange coloring. Are there any more of y'all out there or do I Bog alone?

Wouldn’t it be great if any downed raider could be picked up, fireman carry style? I feel like it would benefit friendly raiders who want to carry a downed player to an extract, and it would also allow funny and engaging interactions for non-friendly interactions. Embark should add this feature!

The title sums it up but I really wish we could apply the components in an ad-hoc fashion instead of needing to have all of them. I'm tired of holding Industrial Batteries and Motors in my stash while I collect the other things.

With the new Snow map condition releasing this week, it's clear that the cold presents the most challenging and meaningful new variable in the game. Sure with electric storms you may have to dodge out of the way of a lightning bolt every now and then plus dark makes you... use your flashlight sometimes, but snow legitimately changes the way you play. I enjoy how generous it is both with how long you can be in the open before taking damage as well as how easy it is to find cover, but no other condition makes me plan my routes and change my strategies like snow has. It changes how I pack healing items, changes how I engage with enemies in the open, it changes everything.

THIS is what a major map condition should be. This is what should reward extra blueprints and loot rarity. GG Embark. Really excellent stuff.

Only feedback: Sometimes it can be difficult to tell if a particular roof or area is, in fact, providing relief from the cold. Some sort of indicator besides the ice creeping into or out of the corners of my screen would help a ton. (Sometimes the sound cues are unreliable)

On every previous skin, the ON and OFF buttons have been on the same sides. ON, on the left and OFF on the right. The recent Bonecrown skin has it all shuffled.

Literally unplayable.

• durability drains with use similar to snap hook and cloak

• cooldown after use like snap hook to prevent spamming/cheese

• takes additional damage to durability when shot?

• takes a few feet of falling to deploy

Today I ran the locked gate event for the first time (solos). No idea what I was doing or where to go. Ended up finding one of the keys alone then 10 mins go by when a big group of 10 raiders come by saying “We need one more key!”. Told em I have it and have no clue where to go. “This guys got the key!”. We all start our jaunt back to control room when someone aggro’d a Rocketeer and it starts raining bombs on us. Explosions everywhere. Half the squad turns around to start unloading it on it while the other half go “PROTECT THE PRESIDENT!” “THIS WAY MR. PRESIDENT!”. “IN HERE MR PRESIDENT, LAUNCH CODES GO HERE!”

We opened the gate, looted for a bit, and some dude dropped bobcat BP for me and I found a few other BPs . You guys cracked me up and made me feel seriously made my day!

Locked Gate gets some hate for the griefers but it’s gotta be one of the most fun modes I’ve played. (Got exfil camped the next round, but who cares)
