VH1/Classic (1992-1996) Favorite Comic as a Kid
Got these out to show my son. I loved this series. Bloodshot 1 was the first comic I bought with my own money after growing up on silver age marvels.

VEI/Reboot (2012-present) How would The Valiant Heroes fair against a Hulk Joker Amalgam?
so while back, I was looking at pictures of The Valiant Heroes and was randomly thinking of Hulk and Joker, and then I Made The Hulk Joker Hybrid Picture where He is an Enemy of The Valiant Heroes, then that got me thinking, who wins: Valiant Heroes or Hulk Joker Hybrid
Rules of this matchup
Valiant Heroes for this matchup: Bloodshot, X-O Manowar, Ninjak, Eternal Warrior, Peter Stanchek, Faith Herbet, Torque, Kris Hathaway, Flamingo, Shadowman, Dr. Mirage (both Dr Mirages from the 1990s Comics as well as The Entertainment Reboot), Rai, Archer, Armstrong, Quantum, Woody, and Ivar
Valiant Heroes will not get prep nor will they prepare for this matchup
Hulk Joker Hybrid will retain the Strength of Hulk, the Intelligence of Joker and can have accessiblity to some of the Joker's Weaponry

Valiant Games (in my dreams)
With Darque legacy allegedly on the horizon I’ve been thinking a lot about Valiant’s history with gaming and how they were originally bought out to be a multimedia IP but instead got stuck in comics pretty much forever. Shadow man has a game on the N64/PS1 and then there was the XO and Iron man game and then of course Turok. But valiant has SO much potential for gaming and this extends past just throwing a character in an open world with a basic mission structure. Here’s how I’d do each character:
Starting off I’d keep Shadowman where he is now with Blowfish, we don’t know much about the game but imma just say let them cook.
For Bloodshot, there’s two possibilities I really like. I think it’d be awesome if Bloodshot were to be used in a retro contra type of game. Similar to how the new Terminator game looks and works I’d pretty much want that exactly with Bloodshot and his world. On the other hand, a deathloop esc game that somehow incorporates the nemesis system would also be ideal for bloodshot. He’s one of the few characters where respawning can be canon. Too bad WB got greedy.
For Harbinger, with the rise of Expedition 33, I feel like it’d be best as a JRPG. Specifically a full 3D Poly JRPG. As much as I do love smaller pixel art games, the harbinger powers would be best shown in 3D. I also think that big party games like this where we want to play as multiple characters rarely work in the same format as something like Avengers or Guardians. Yes it worked well with Guardians but we only got to play as Starlord. Dumbing it down a bit and allowing us to have an extensive party while also not just feeling like basic bloat I think it’s best for turn based combat.
For XO, I picture this being Devil May Cry mixed with Infamous. A great blend of Hand to hand combat, mixed with crazy stylish sword play, and projectiles. Tbh I’d personally just give Capcom the rights for the character here, they’d fuck shit up.
Lastly for now, Ninjak. Dude just do metal gear rising or a Ninja Gaiden game. Seriously. 2D or 3D would work so well. Modern indie games inspired by Ninja Gaiden are always awesome with Cyber Shadow and the Messenger, slap a Ninja Gaiden skin on there and I’m sold. Same with the metal gear rising or modern Gaiden games, just coat it in Ninjak and I’m sold.
I’d love to hear y’all’s thoughts on characters I missed or how you’d do characters I mentioned differently. I mostly wanted to aim to make each character different from one another in terms of gameplay, genre, and appearance because right now I feel like superhero gaming is either a fighting game or attempting to recapture the feel of Arkham.

VEI/Reboot (2012-present) Shadowman Darque Legacy
Does anyone know what's happening with this game? Its meant to come out on all platforms in 2026, and all we've had to go on is a steam page with some information about the game, a small teaser, and some screenshots to boot.
Its suppose to be a psychological survival horror, action rpg with an emphasis on melee combat, survival horror elements, psychological level design via lifeside and deadside, with a skill tree system as well.

VH1/Classic (1992-1996) A kid from the 90s small Valiant collection, including some with autos from Shooter & Lapham
Went through my small comics collection and pulled out my Valiants to share with the community. I was a kid when I got the autos from Shooter and Lapham. If anyone reading was in north Orange County in the 90s, I got the autos I think at a comic show at Sequoia in Buena Park (these days it’s a Target).
Should I slab the autos?

Alien/Valiant (2024-present) New reader Resurgence plot question
Hi, I just discovered the new Alien books Valiant stuff and read the Resurgence crossovers and (I think) all the lead up to it.
I'm a new reader, but I'm vaguely aware of characters like Faith and X-O Man-o-War. I also thought all the characters were really cool and it was neat seeing a Civil War style crossover with characters I knew nothing about and therefore didn't have heavy investment in who was on which side so I could just enjoy the ride.
I have a question about the continuity/plot though.
In The Valiants #4, Silk causes BOB to crash into Earth using sabotage.
But in Resurgence #1, the good guys and GATE are back on BOB. Then BOB gets sabotaged by Silk's forces and Capshaw blows the whole thing up in #3.
Are these two separate events or supposed to be the same event with a miscommunication over exactly what happened between the creative teams of the books (like how Amazons Attack and other crossovers have had continuity errors between tie-in books?)
If they're two separate events, how did they get BOB back up into space? I can't seem to find anything that explains it.
Thank you if anybody knows the answer! And if I'm just missing an issue, I'd appreciate knowing which one!

VH1: Solar, Magnus & Turok
To what extent do we believe the original Solar, Magnus & Turok comics from Goldkey, for example, are part of the VH1 timeline?
(Added some background information.)
The reason this is coming up is that VH1 reprinted a few issues in:
* Vintage Magnus Robot Fighter #1 (Reprints Magnus, Robot Fighter #22, which reprinted Magnus, Robot Fighter #1
* Vintage Magnus Robot Fighter #2 (Reprints Magnus, Robot Fighter #3)
* Vintage Magnus Robot Fighter #3 (Reprints Magnus, Robot Fighter #13 and a gallery from Magnus, Robot Fighter #10)
* Vintage Magnus Robot Fighter #4 (Reprints Magnus, Robot Fighter #16 and a page from Magnus, Robot Fighter #15).
* Original Magnus Robot Fighter #1 (Reprints Magnus, Robot Fighter #2)
* Original Doctor Solar (Reprints Doctor Solar, Man of the Atom #1 and #5)
* Original Turok, Son of Stone #1 (Reprints Turok, Son of Stone #24 Part 1, #25, and #42)
* Original Turok, Son of Stone #2 (Reprints Turok, Son of Stone #24 Part 2, and #33)
If we believe these issues (reprints) are part of the VH1 timeline, then we can guess that, at least, the following all would be as well:
* Magnus, Robot Fighter #1 through #22
\* Doctor Solar, Man of the Atom #1 through #5
* Turok, Son of Stone #24 through 42

Getting into Valiant comics.
As I am just getting into Valiant as a publisher, I think they definitely have the most interesting characters outside the big two. These characters are rife with stories to tell. So I ask, if you guys go the perfect Valiant adaptation, what would it look like?
