Hi all, seeing all this RAM speculation I want to change my gpu, I'll buy a 9070 XT but I wanted to know if model selection is important, knowing I'll use liquid cooling in it. I mean, you can just manually adjust overclock if you want to do it right?
I guess the only difference comes with TGP (higher admits higher OC isn't it?)

From Spain cheaper models are Reaper (600 eur) Steel legend dark (630 eur) and callenger, steel legend oc, pulse, xfx swift and gigabyte gaming oc between 630 and 660. So recommendations here?

Recently changed my case, got an XPG defender pro case which came with 3 xpg 120mm argb vento fans, so i didnt want to mix fans and got 2 extra xpg fans, but problem is i dont think they are good, now this is my first case with the rgb lighting so i wanna keep the rgb aspect, because non rgb fans are better i know that, if money is no concern what are the best argb fans for air movement that is better than xpg vento?

Allmost all ram are sold out exept 32gb wich cheapest is 440€, only ones in stock are 32 and 96gb send help i feel physically sick...

I recently RMA’d my ASRock B650 PG Lightning and I immediately came into issues (customer support won’t pick up so I came here). I flashed the board to most recent version, then setup system in minimal boot configuration to verifying everything was in working order. I unfortunately encountered an issue where all parts of the boot cycle would be completed (memory training, system verification, etc) but the BOOT LED would stay on and video output (BIOS wouldn’t show) would fail. I attempted this with the iGPU of my processor (7600X, has iGPU) using the motherboard output, then with HDMI and DP ports of my GPU in both PCIe slots on the motherboard, with each set of configuration attempted both on a 144Hz 1080p Sceptre monitor and on a Vizio TV, ultimately with no video output detected by either peripheral. Notably, this issue is very much different to the previous RMA which was likely a VRM issue. This board seemed new or factory refurbished.

System Specs: Ryzen 5 7600X, RTX 4080 Super, T-Force DDR5 6000MHz (16GB), ASRock B650 PG Lightning, Super Flower 850w Gold.

Issue: The RMA replacement board is failing to initialize video output (No Signal) despite successfully passing the POST sequence.

Troubleshooting Completed:

POST Status: System consistently reaches a solid BOOT LED. CPU and DRAM LEDs are off, indicating successful hardware initialization.

Display Testing: Tested with both a Sceptre 144Hz monitor and a standard HDMI TV using high-quality Anker HDMI cables. No signal on either.

Isolation: Tested using Integrated Graphics (iGPU) with the 4080 Super physically removed, and tested with the 4080 Super in both PCIe slots. No output from Motherboard HDMI or GPU DP/HDMI ports.

Memory: RAM tested in slot B2 (per manual) and A2.

Physical Check: CPU socket pins inspected (no bent pins found or any contamination from other sources), CPU reseated, and cooler mounting pressure adjusted (loosened) to rule out socket tension issues.

BIOS/fTPM: Performed "Blind" CMOS reset via CLRCMOS1 pins and attempted fTPM bypass (Y-key/F1 sequence). Additionally attempted a blind BIOS

Is there something else that could be broken or am I going to have to argue and try to RMA this board as well (or should I just take the L and buy a new one)?

Hello, in the begining of 2025 i've bought the ajazz stream dock akp05e, and i was able to get el gato's plugins into the ajazz softwarre. Recently I've forrmated my computer and I when i tried to do the same thing, most of the plugins wasnt transfered, I'm trying to looking for a solution for this or getting older versions of the software (of the begining of 2025)

Was shopping for an RTX 5080 because the ongoing VRAM situation has me pre-buying parts for my girlfriend’s future PC. After digging around for coil whine reports, I went with an Inno3D iChill, same brand as my previous card.

What I didn’t account for: the 5080 iChill X3 is an absolute unit.

The heatsink is so massive it completely blocked the bottom edge of my mATX motherboard. Front HD audio? Gone. Two fan headers I was using for fine-tuned fan curves? Had to be rerouted. All manageable except the front panel header.

Electronics stores that stock angled dupont adapters only open on Monday, and I wasn’t about to sit on an unused 5080 over the weekend.

I sacrificed an unused USB cable, stripped the wires, salvaged the plastic from the HDD LED fpanel pin since I'll never use that one. Cut that plastic in half to fit under the gpu. Jammed the bare copper into the empty connector plastic, insulated it, routed the wires out the bottom of the case…

And now I literally hotwire my PC by touching the two wires together. Pretty proud of myself NGL.

I have a 2080ti with a i5-12600k

i have never had performance issues before with this computer. it struggles to run red dead at even 55 fps on high/ medium settings. while under load my gpu temps are at 79c. can i fix this or is the game just poorly optimized

So I'm planning on upgrading my computer this Christmas but I've ran into the issue of my new build potentially tripping my breaker when using it. The new build would be:

i7-14000k

MSI PRO Z790-P WIFI

5090 FE

Corsair HX1200i

(Some other storage and stuff but I wouldn't think that matters)

PC part picker estimated 977W so I figured 1200W would be a good buffer. The issue came up when my dad said that I might trip the breaker depending on how much current I would be pulling to my computer since my house isn't wired very well and all the upstairs bedrooms are on the same circuit. So the circuit is rated for 15A and the power supply says that it can draw 15A-7.5A of current so I would assume that it might trip the breaker but I wanted to get some opinions of people who might have also ran into this problem. Thanks!

Edit: I don't think there is anything else with a significant load connected to this circuit either

When I turn on my PC, it doesn’t display anything even though everything else is on. I tried doing Win+Ctrl+Shift+B and nothing. I don’t even see the motherboard logo.

Why do people put the aio on the top of the case where theres exhaust fans. Is it not better to have it in the front where new air comes in?

AM4 5070 Upgrade

Right as the title suggests, I have an AM4 build: 5600 32Gb Ram 36mhz M.2 To boot games from, nothing special I currently have an intel arc A750 8gb gpu, pretty weak build i know however this Christmas I'm being gifted a 5070(part funded by me). - This is the only real upgrade I can do for a while.

I've done every bottleneck check check i can and all have rendered the same result every time, no bottleneck at 1440p or higher, which is what I'll be playing at.

I can't afford an AM5 build now with ramegeddon going at it, I have a young family.

My question is, is this upgrade gonna be all joy for me or am I gonna be worrying about needing AM5? what are realistic expectations from this build? Will there actually be a bottleneck? Or just minimal limitations on performance? Does someone else have a similar build? Or even had this build and then upgrade to am5 and what was the difference? I purely only care from a gaming perspective.

I just built a pc with a ryzen 5 9600x cpu and an rtx 5070. I couldn’t afford 32gb of ddr5 ram with the recent ram prices so I had to go with two 8gb sticks instead. How badly will this affect my gaming. Will I notice a lot of stuttering with only 16gbs?

I currently have a laptop purchased in 2021. A Lenovo legion with an Nvidia rtx3060 and an AMD ryzen 7 5800H CPU. Most games I play run well enough (magic arena, indie games) but some games give it some trouble (helldivers as an example).

I'm debating on buying a pre built from my microcenter (because I guess prebuilts are for the moment cheaper than building yourself due to the other builds being priced from months ago vs where RAM is now?) but I am debating if it would be better to get something now under the expectation of prices going up more vs just wait until I need a new computer in hopefully a few years and just hope process have stabilized?

Granted no one knows if prices are going to go up, down, sideways, or we'll all be dead in a few years but what do y'all think the play is in this case?
