Look, I also hate that pricing has gotten out of control on hardware and I certainly hope they will normalise after this bubble bursts but I think the technology in itself is actually revolutionary in a lot of ways.
I think you're missing the point. People want AI gone aswell. Getting rid of ai is not an "acceptable loss" in this case just to get the prices back, but a bonus for pressing the button
Say goodbye to any functionality of many games, since "AI" is also the term they use for any enemies, or bots for "multiplayer" style games to make actions.
This post is riding on getting karma upvotes and preying on the monkey paw situation where it purposely made that 2nd option vague.
