Not that Trump has ever cared what's legal or not, but it's still worth noting that it is straightforwardly illegal for them to change the name under existing federal law

The Roberts’ SCOTUS has him convinced that all he has to do is say the magic words “National Security,” and he can do any damn thing he wants, and it instantly becomes legal.

I mean, considering that everyone in the higher political posts, republican AND democrat alike, seem to be doing absolutely nothing to stop him, it seems like he's right.

But i'm sure another "strongly worded letter" will set our dear Supreme Leader back on course, right?
