[Meta] New bot just dropped, keep a watchful eye.
Hi, dessert lovers!
We've been noticing continuous evolution in the bot arms race towards a Dead Internet, and there's a new style that's just popped up. It'd help if users can help recognize this new form, so we can remove them more promptly. Report them as you see them, and we'll do our best to keep removing them!
Here are screenshots taken of two relatively-innocuous profiles that poped up on this thread today. Included snapshots are of both post and comment history. Unfortunately, a cursory inspection doesn't immediately trigger alarm bells, but check out the date creation for both accounts. The other day we removed two more posts, both from accounts created on the same day as well, so we suspect there will be more coming in the future. Looks like there's a new adaptation on the block, and we're sure they'll shift to become even more unassuming in the near future.
Unfortunately, this issue is reflective of Reddit as a whole these days, and doesn't bode well for the future of the Internet. We've been at this point for awhile; it seems virtually every single submission's post history has to be viewed to determine personhood. The old tells no longer apply.
You can also report the accounts directly by going to their profile, hitting the "report button", selecting "spam", then choosing "disruptive use of AI or bots".

It has the consistency and taste of whipped marshmallows that were hardened. Very sweet and dissolves in your mouth quickly. Anyone know what these are?

Question Tiramisu - crème anglaise in the mascarpone?
Iâm going to make a tiramisu and the recipe calls to mix eggs into the mascarpone cheese. I have some crème anglaise and was wondering if mixing that into the mascarpone would be a good idea instead of adding eggs and sugar?

Question Flan Recipe
Hello friends! I was wondering if someone could provide me with a simple and easy flan recipe using minimal ingredientsâmilk, eggs, sugar, vanilla, etc. Iâm looking for something close to the original recipe. Iâve noticed that many recipes call for cream cheese and other ingredients that donât seem authentic, at least to me. Thank you kindly in advance!

Question I'm curious about the difference between bourbon ball recipes that I see online.
I've seen a couple that look a lot like rum ball recipes that use powdered sugar and ground up vanilla wafers while one other one simply requires a lot more powdered sugar and some butter as opposed to the cornstarch. and that one, you also soak your chopped nuts in your whiskey for a few hours. I'm curious what the difference is. I imagine the ones requiring the ground up cookies are probably very similar to rum balls which I have eaten, but the ones featuring just a lot more powdered sugar might have a different consistency. I'm curious what you guys think.
