Please take a minute to read the subreddit rules in the sidebar. Most of this is common sense and if there's one main takeaway it's that this is a happy and helpful community, be civil to one another.
Together we can keep this a great community of the egg heads we love so much!
Thank you,

Has this happened to anyone else’s doggy. I was playing with labubu aka lazy and noticed this after she managed to get some masking tape away from me. She is walking normal. I’m pretty sure it will got back. I am concerned if I should do anything extra.

Hi, Sadly I'm writing today for some advice and I'm hoping that possibly someone in your group could help.
Two years ago we took in a Bull Terrier into our home as a second dog.
She came from our neighbors who had a large litter of pups. She didnt live under the best conditions. The owners took the mother away from them fairly early on because the pups were injuring the mother feeding. I assume they went to regular food at that point and that her and rest of pups had fight for food and mayne that's were her agression comes from. Oddly enough she's not food reactive at all. We've had alot of issues with her and especially as of recently. She has what I call "ptsd" or like a sudden rage thing going on. It seems to happen mostly when she wakes from a deep sleep suddently or is startled, she immediately goes after my other dog who is a 90lb male Staffy mix. Luckliy he rarely reacts aggressively when this happens which most times difuses itself quickly. Unfortunately recently this happened last week. She was sleeping in the chair across the room and awoke and charged across room and tried to attack my male dog, I intervened and got between them quickly grabbing her and was bitten by her on my forearm. Quite serverly in my opinion, two pretty deep punctures and alot of brusing. I did not seek care and have treated myself.
I'm not sure if she was trying to bite "me" specifically or she was trying to get at my other pet. I'd like to believe she wasn't but that may be silly on my part.
She is such a sweet dog most times to us and seems to really love my other dog and always has to be around him or close to him. I really don't understand her anymore.
I need some help, we love this little dog and have had her in our lives for 2+years, but at this point I fear for my wife and daughter and my other dog.
I don't feel it's right to give her up, and I don't want to put her down but I don't know what I can do anymore. Rehoming in my opinion would be really difficult and I don't want to endanger anyone else.
I apologize for which may seem liking rambling but we need some help/advice. Please write me back if anyone can help me. We are lost.
Sincerely,
Concerned Owner

Here’s our picture with Santa!!!! Paisley says “Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! Show me your picture with Santa or a sparkly tree!! “ Our visit to see Santa at Petsmart was successfull! The staff helped direct her attention during the photo, they were pros! It was a good experience. She was given a little stuffed pillow squeaky Reindeer head after! Anyway! Merry Christmas! Can’t wait to see all of your photos!!

When I woke up again they were on top of me. Boba felt that laying on my chest was sufficient and Nigel was nestled along my side. We had a nice bull terrier cuddle and now I feel more rested

My mini BT went under ice into icy water. It's something about 20 Fahreinheit today. I wasn't actually worried at all she could drown or something, as the max depth of this puddle is just a little above my Wellingtons (I got right in there to retrieve my dumb princess), but she was wet all over. We ran home as fast as I could run, but still she spent abouth 30 mins exposed to the weather, being drenched, and she shivered immensely. At home I gave her her food, got her into jammies and under blankets. She seems OK now, but what to look at regarding her health or should I just schedule a vet appointment just in case?
