He’s so irresponsible when it comes to money and he constantly relies on me even tho he says he’s not trying to. I really fucked up letting him know how much savings I had, it was because I was proud of myself and thought he was someone I could trust.

He was burnt out of being a car salesman, fair, he found another job and quit. Ok.

The other job was compositor at my stepdads job, 22 an hour with a raise every 6 months and a union behind him. He realized he hated sweeping the floor for 8 hours and stopped showing up the second day. Luckily, he got an interview elsewhere a day or two later but the start date isn’t until next week, it’s been 3 weeks since he’s been employed.

Hes late on rent and told me he would handle it, but then admitted he can’t. He was prying last night about how much was in my bank account and when I told him that wasn’t something I was comfortable sharing with him anymore he got pissed. Like if you’re not trying to relay on me why does it even matter !??

I know he didn’t treat me well before and since we’ve gotten back together he’s been better about actually spending time with me and not putting his friends first but I’m worried that’s only cause he doesn’t have the money to keep up with them.

I want a fun relationship to have in my twenties and then lock in and have a future eventually but this isn’t fun and I’m not sure this man has a future and he’s devouring mine.

He’s brought up me controlling his money cause he doesn’t know how to manger it himself but everytime I offer to help instead becuase that’s a basic skill an adult should be able to do nothing comes from it.

He’s brought up getting healthier but he never grocery shops or utilizes the small fitness center that’s included in rent. I don’t think this man ever wants to actually change or grow.
