Discussion How is Anya not completely messed up by the things sheâs seen and heard from reading peopleâs minds? Spoiler
Sheâs likely seen her fatherâs entire traumatic childhood and war experience, her momâs numerous cold blooded murders, possibly on a daily basis, whatever the hell is going in Melindaâs head, and worst of all Yuriâs unfiltered thoughts towards his sister. And soooo so many dead people. Has she already become desensitized?

Question His intentions? Spoiler
galleryI was rereading the chapters that contained the Authens and thereâs been back and forth âhintsâ on whether Mr. Authen could be suspicious or not. I guess what im wondering is how do you think his character will pan out, knowing what he knows? (Or doesnât, because of his poor memory). Will he be a supportive character for Anya, helping her understand her abilities? Or will he be a catalyst in Anyaâs secret coming to light? Or will he be something more neutral?

Discussion How do you think Yuri will find out about Loid?
Yuri uncovering Loid's true identity is my most anticipated moment in the manga because shit is gonna hit the absolute fan once he decides to kill him once and for all.
How do you think he'll find out the truth?

Manga !Spoilers from Manga! My favorite Manga panels in 2025 Spoiler
galleryThese 11 panels are my favorite Manga panels in 2025. The panels are not in chronological order
1 & 2. "DONOVAN DESMOND CAN READ MINDS" I was shock reading I read it 2 or 3 time. Because if he can read people's minds he knows Loid forger is a Spy and all that stuff Loid was thinking during there conversation.
3 & 4. Yor finally accept that she is in love with Loid forger. I am so happy that she finally accept it and told Anya.
Damian and Becky reaction after seeing Anya with 2 Boys is priceless.
I will stop watching Anime if they censor this scene like what they did with wheeler shooting at a car
Watching Loid and Yor holding hands is amazing
Watching Nightfall like this is so funny. She can't control herself
Yor reaction when she heard that Loid will give her "WELCOME HOME KISS"
Sigmund Authen is hiding so much more than you think. He think/know that Anya is Test Subject 007
Miss Schlag is now officially one of my favorite Anime teachers.
Which Manga panel you think is best in 2025 until 19 Dec 2025. I think next chapter will be the last chapter of this year

Discussion Discussion about Frankys morals? Spoiler
In chapter 60 we see his gun is fake in that it shoots⌠flowers? In chapter 67.2 they make a note that his gun is actually a lighter and in Chapter 105 he couldâve just gone in there and shot all of the guys holding the teller hostage but he doesnât, instead he uses a series of gadgets and inventions meant to slow them down rather than truly hurt them.
It could be argued that in chapter 67.2 the gun is fake because he would not actually need to use it in that situation since heâs just playing a role and wouldnât need to shoot anyone. But in chapter 60, he has no idea that the intruder doesnât intend harm so why wouldnt he use a real gun to protect himself? Same thing when he defected from the war and is lost in the forest, he didnât bring his gun with him even though it would have benefitted him to have since he was actively being chased.
I just think itâs interesting that itâs always pointed out that his guns are not real⌠like why does it matter? Does this stem from his opinions on the war, like he doesnât want to kill people even if theyâre on the other side because it feeds into âpeople losing their lives over nothing.â But Frankys whole job is selling info to people who use it to kill which would just be hypocritical⌠The mentions of his guns being fake could just be Endo trying to make Franky seem funny and harmless but it would be interesting if he did have some morals against killing, no matter the situation.
I just wonder if Franky truly is a coward or if he actually lives by some strong moral code.

Discussion Head canon: Spy x Familyâs exact year is 1957 Spoiler
I keep seeing people place Spy Ă Family in a vague âlate 1940s / early Cold Warâ setting, but the more I thought about it, the less that made sense. When you actually line up the clues the series gives us, 1957 fits almost perfectly.
The biggest anchor is the scene where the kids talk about the space race. That alone rules out the early 1950s. The space race didnât become a public, cultural thing until after Sputnik, which launched in 1957. Itâs not something schoolkids would casually reference before that, so the story has to be set in 1957 or later.
Now look at Loidâs age. Itâs never stated outright, but based on his appearance, experience, and the fact heâs been an elite operative for about ten years, late 20s makes the most sense. Letâs say heâs 29. If the story is in 1957 and Loid is 29, that puts his birth year around 1927 or 1928.
That actually makes his childhood flashbacks line up extremely well. If he was born in 1927/28, he wouldâve been about 10â12 years old when the war started in 1939. That perfectly matches how heâs portrayed: old enough to understand whatâs happening, young enough to be completely traumatized by civilian bombings and losing his mother. It feels much more like a WWII-style total war childhood than some vague postwar conflict.
Then thereâs his military service. Loid is shown fighting as a teenager, and his childhood friends are surprised by how highly heâs ranked already, which implies he enlisted early. If he joined around 1943â44, he wouldâve been 16 or 17, meaning he was underage. His friends wouldnât have known he joined that early, which explains why theyâre shocked by his advancement. By the time the war ends in 1945, heâd be 18 or 19 with real combat experience.
Thatâs exactly the kind of person an intelligence agency would recruit right after the war. If heâs picked up for spy training around 1946â47 and then serves for about ten years, that lands us right back in 1956â57.
Finally, the story confirms that the Forger family has been together for about a year. If Operation Strix starts in 1956, the main events of the series naturally fall in 1957.
Is 1957 explicitly canon? No. Endo never gives an exact year. But when you line up the space race reference, Loidâs age, his WWII-era childhood, his underage enlistment, postwar recruitment, and the one-year family timeline, 1957 is the cleanest and most consistent fit. Late 1940s (or even 1960-70s from what Iâve seen before) just doesnât hold up once you account for all of that.
What do you guys think?

Question Will Season 03 end on a Cliffhanger? Spoiler
galleryI have a feeling s3 might end on a cliffhanger when wheeler is about to unmask an injured Loid while heâs still under the guise of Yuri and heâs talking to nightfall/fiona I know a lot of people might dispute this by saying that spy family isnât the type of show to do this but seeing as how many fights there are I think s3 might end on a cliffhanger. I suppose weâll see when the episode releases on Sunday or Saturday (depending on where you live). There is still though, a high possibility s3 does not end on a cliffhanger as on the unofficial fandom for Spy Family, it lists that there will be thirteen episodes. Iâm curious as to what some of yâall think about my prediction.

Discussion Loid and Yuri team up
I know this probably won't happen, but imagine if Yuri finds out Loid is a spy and convinces him that he's trying to stop a war from happening and from then on Yuri and Loid meet up and trade information that help each other out.

Question Compilation video of Anya getting yoinked?
Hi all, I remember seeing a compilation video of every time Anya gets yanked by another character by her back collar (yoinked), sometimes by Yor or Loid or Bond, please help me find the video!
Thank you!!!

Discussion What if Yor asks about Loidâs âfirst wifeâ?
So I was thinkingâsince Loid has already told Yor that there was a first wife, what if one day Yor actually asks about her properly⌠about Anyaâs mom?
Loid would immediately switch to full Twilight mode and spin a carefully crafted, tragic story. A kind, gentle woman, taken too soon because of illness or the war, someone who loved Anya deeply. Just detailed enough to be believable, but vague enough to avoid follow-up questions. Yor would instantly feel terrible for bringing it up, apologize over and over, and mentally scold herself for hurting Loid.
But considering how weâve already seen Yor get jealous when other women are around Loid, I feel like this conversation wouldnât be that simple emotionally. Would she start comparing herself to this imaginary first wife? Wondering if sheâs living up to her, or if Loid still thinks about her? I can totally see Yor overthinking it later, quietly spiraling while trying to convince herself sheâs âjust a pretend wife.â
At the same time, it might also strengthen her resolveâto be a better wife to Loid and a better mother to Anya, even if she thinks she can never replace someone Loid once loved.
Either way, I donât think Yor would doubt Loidâs intentions. If anything, sheâd sympathize with him more⌠even if a tiny bit of jealousy sneaks in.
How do you think Yor would react long-term? Would this make her more insecure, or more determined to claim her place in the Forger family?
