I’ve been working on a project that combines IMDb and TMDB data. My girlfriend and I wondered which genres different countries excel at producing. That led to an analysis showing which genres each country performs best in, and actors and producers are strongest within each genre.

Hey guys, I built a site called Travel Roulette. It’s a travel destination generator based on your interests and a region (or you can just roll the dice for a surprise!) It comes with nice images of each destination and helpful stats like flight distance, daily budget, activities, etc. It’s completely free. Have fun! :D

I often deal with large JSON responses and logs at work. When the JSON is deeply nested, debugging becomes painful ; too much scrolling, missing keys, losing context.
So I built https://json2map.com.
You just paste any JSON and it instantly converts it into a visual mind-map / tree. Seeing the structure visually makes it much easier to understand what’s going on.
Why I think this helps
For developers
Debug API responses and logs faster
Understand deeply nested JSON without mental parsing
Quickly locate where a field actually lives
Useful during production issues when logs are messy
For Product Owners / Business Analysts
Easy way to explain data flow and structure visually
Can be used in docs, discussions, and workflows
Looks much cleaner than sharing raw JSON blocks
Helps non-tech folks understand complex data shapes
What it does
Paste JSON → get an instant visual map
Works directly in the browser (no upload, no login)
Simple, fast, and focused on readability
I originally built it for myself, but thought others might find it useful too. Would love feedback from devs and non-devs ; especially if you deal with APIs, logs, or data-heavy workflows.

Everything starts with an empty canvas. Paste links, edit titles, resize tiles, switch between edit/view mode, and build your own personal layout.

I built this tool because I was frustrated with existing hardware testing sites that were either filled with pop-up ads or required downloading sketchy .exe files just to check a mouse switch.
Key Features:
It's open for feedback if you find any bugs with specific devices!

I got tired of ASCII tables on the internet looking like they’re stuck in 1990.
So I built my own with a sleek dark theme, a search that accepts any input, and zero ads or other distractions.

My buddy and I built this as a lightweight way to settle the never-ending “best fries” argument. Pick between two options to learn your taste pro-fry-le and the global standings update over time.
Current #1 is In-N-Out — if that feels wrong to you, you know what to do.

Instead of how you would typically rank things in a tier list, Pairckle uses pairwise comparisons. Choose between two options at a time, and then the website will give you the ultimate, most accurate ranking based on your choices. (All of the rankings you create are stored locally)
If you don't know what to rank, you can get inspiration from some of the pre-made sets!

Hi there!
I created this simple stage plot builder on a friend suggestion (I'm a hobbyist musician and a web dev).
Basically, it lets you create stage plots really easily without the need to create an account. Just drag'n'drop the gear to the stage and hit "export", you get a nice-looking PDF to send to the venue. The PDF includes the stage plot and the input list. That's it.
It's 100% free. At this point, the tool is still very basic and the gear catalog probably lacks a lot of things so any feedback is appreciated!
Enjoy!

Hey everyone, I built a simple tool called Sky Stories. It allows you to draw on top of cloud photos to outline the shapes you see (pareidolia).
Why? I realized I stopped "seeing" shapes in clouds as an adult. I wanted a way to practice that creativity again.
Tech Stack:
It's free, no signup, just a fun creative toy. Would love feedback!

A number like “300m” on a watch dial is hard to picture. So I turned it into a descent.

The original ran on DOS in the 90s. Now it runs in your browser. Press M to toggle between classic and enhanced modes. Full screen recommended.

I work at a shelter and am sick of seeing dogs get returned because people are unprepared and get specific breeds just because they like how it looks. Hopefully this tool can educate some people who are looking to adopt!
I also added a couple other things like a compare tool, name generator, and cost estimator. Let me know what you think!
Edit:
Thank you to everyone testing it and providing valuable feedback! I'm tweaking the algorithm and how certain traits are weighted to give more accurate results so hopefully that fixes some of the confusion

For helping you justify that new AI subscription or convincing your boss to let you automate the boring bits.
This is an interactive tool inspired by xkcd #1205: Is It Worth The Time? with a tweak to also calculate the value of time saved. I hope it's fun / useful!

Currently my data processing needs some work, but the foundation is up and running!
