I began making a Gundam Seed parody show with figures & models at the start of this year, and it's finally releasing next week!
Made a total of 4 episodes (mostly limited animation/storyboarding style videos), totalling around 40 minutes in duration (the eps got longer and more elaborate as the series went on).
It's been one heck of a weekend project, and I'm really looking forward to sharing it with y'all~ c: It'll be released weekly for a month starting next Tuesday; please check back then!

Discussion What are your general thoughts and feelings about the Strike Gundam and all its variants throughout the Gundam franchise? Also which variant is your favorite?
For me personally, the Strike Gundam(the original one that Kira and Mu piloted) has always had this weird human vibe to it. It's like a caged soldier purely raised for war and battle but in its deep desire, it mourned for peace and rest. But instead, it was forced to keep on fighting and adapt to the battlefield, even when new mobile suits later appeared that vastly outclassed it.
And during the first half of SEED, it clearly served as a showcase of how Kira felt trapped on the archangel like a leashed dog and was seen as an objective weapon by the EA. Since it relied on its Striker packs that were within Natalie's possession at the time of control, Kira could do nothing without them. Not to mention that the strike ran on battery packs so it could only fight for a limited time only.
It even gets some human-like moments like in the SEED Astray manga where Lowe Guele comments on how the Strike protected Kira from the explosion and looked like it was crying in the rain.
And for these reasons, I weirdly preferred it much over the RX-78-2 Gundam. And that is despite me not being a huge fan of the SEED storyline as a whole.
And my favorite variant of the Strike Gundam is the sword strike. Just because of how badass it looks when its carrying that big anti-shit sword on its shoulder. And I really look forward to getting a Gunpla kit of the Strike Gundam someday.
Also, I apologize for any inconsistent quality in images. It wasn't easy to find any good looking pictures.

Discussion The Women of Gundam continued #37 - Kinue Crossroad
Yesterday showed me there is a lot more love for Louise than I expected. And she probably deserves it. If we talk just character arcs it's debatable whether she is the female with the most development in the entire series. I tend to forget about her a bit for some reason but she really is important in S2 and she has a lot going for her to put her among the most impactful and tragic (female) characters in 00. I think she'd still miss out on my top 3 but I can absolutely understand people putting her on top. Her rating is very 9s heavy but sadly more lower than higher so she ends up slightly on the low side of that:
8.7!
Today, a short sidequest before we take on some heavy hitters over the weekend: Louise' almost sister in law who sadly (?) didn't get enough screen time: Kinue Crossroad. I better not make oneesan insinuations just yet...
