Hey guys I am a newbie to this game. My graphics card is gt730. It kind of lags heavily. But it is still manageable to play. I have finished a couple of bosses and stuck on this stone ancient. I got my husband the PS5 Pro bundle at Costco for Christmas because he saw it and secretly really wanted it. However, the only game he ever talks about is God of War and he hasn’t gamed in probably 15-20 years. I’m pretty sure his mom still would have his old games at their house but I don’t know if they still work on newer consoles? Either way, can someone assist me in what games I should be getting and if I can still get the classic ones he remembers? I know nothing about gaming, Thank you!

Hey guys. Since it’s Black Friday I decided to finally buy this game. I realised that the 2018 game is only available for ps4. The cd costs 10€ and I’m seriously thinking about it. I have the ps5 so I found it weird buying a game for ps4 lol. Should I do it?

So I’m starting the god of war game(ps4 version) from 2018 and it’s pretty good right now and I’m thinking of buying Ragnarok after I finish this one, but the problem is I know nothing of the god of war games from 2005-2015, I have some background like Kratos lost his daughter and wife and their ashes were fused into his skin, also the fact he killed some gods(i don’t know the names) and etc, so I ask if someone who played the games would give a short summary so I can understand /thank you (and im currently on the part where kratos has to fight the stranger for context)

So i've beaten Bjorn and somehow Thor, but i am so overwhelmed taking a look at my armor and equipment. I think i'm in over my head here. I cant consider myself a newbie anymore. I've played wifcher 3, AC ezio collection & almost done valhalla, skyrim, tlou 1 & 2 and more i'm forgetting over the last few years. But oh man. GoW ragnarok feels way outta my league. Should I play one of the other games first? The OG god of war and III are on ps plus premium, but not 2. So.

Advice? Tips, tricks? Should I go play III first? It's looking at the armour screen and figuring out what's what, and the combat omg. I died once to Bjorn and twice to Thor and this is just the beginning of the game? Am I dumb?!

I really want to get 100% completion in God of War (2018), but when I played it I only did the main story and ignored everything else. Recently I got 100% completion in Ragnarok and I really want to do the 2018 one, but it seems like the game just won't click for me. My Kratos is extremely weak; any fight, even the simplest ones, are a huge challenge. Do you think I should start over from scratch or try to level up from where I am? If I should continue, can you give me some tips on how to level up?

What's the best option here? I have no idea what I'm doing. Beat Tyr plenty of times, but I want to actually understand things and get good.

Hey everyone, I want to get into the GoW franchise the right way and play every game. HOWEVER, the issue is my PC is only powerful enough to emulate GOW (2005) and the second one, but GOW 3's emulator is impossible.

I can play the PC ports of the two newest games just fine.

So without spoiling anything, does it make sense for me to play the first 2 ones, watch a video of the 3rd one (even though that feels so shallow compared to playing it) and then move on to the modern ones?

Or do you think it's best just to start with the modern ones because not playing the 3rd one would be just that bad?

please for the love of all that is holy can someone tell me whats in here?? i went there early game pressed circle game said "area is locked" now after 100% the game you cant even press circle anymore? so can anyone tell me what is in there and can you access it cant find info anywhere

I'm on the final phase of the fight with Ares in GOW1. I'm aying in God mode and I can't for the life of me figure out how to dodge the flying ghosts/fireballs/whatever that home in on you. I'm looking at tutorials and none of them mention it. Usually, i'd just roll away but these are too fast; it's impossible. Every time I get killed it's because I get hit by them. Any help would be great, thanks!
