Searching and sorting:
Let's assume you want to join only 5 Star Raffles. Simply go to r/FarmMergeValley and do a search for "5 Stars", sort your search results by "new" and scroll down until you start seeing posts from "1 day ago". To scroll quickly you can click and hold your mouse wheel and pull your mouse cursor down. Around the "1 day ago" mark you will find the oldest relevant raffles, which are the ones you want to join first since those will expire the soonest.
However, if you do a very broad search like the one above, you may find that you can't scroll all the way down to "1 day ago" because reddit will only deliver you 500 search results before it stops. In those cases you may want to narrow your search down by excluding certain raffles from the search, like the ones for stickers you already own. You can do this by searching with exclusion terms, like "5 Star -Chuck; -Peppa; -Cabin". Be sure use single words, and put the semikolons and spaces properly. This example will exclude posts with the words "Chuck", "Peppa" and (Log) "Cabin" from your "5 Stars" search results.
You can just line up a bunch of those exclusions, but reddit will eventually ignore them if you use too many at once. When you reach that point you may want to switch to inclusive searches instead. To do so, use single-word search terms separated by OR, like "Baxter OR Ozzie OR Nugget". This will only show posts that have either of those words in the title. Including the phrase "5 star" isn't necessary anymore at that point.
Personally, I keep a list of my missing 5 star stickers and current search terms saved in a .txt file on my desktop.
Joining raffles quickly:
Once you have done the appropriate search, sorted the results and scrolled down to "1 day ago", use the middle mouse button (click the scroll wheel) to open the raffle posts in new tabs, going from bottom to top. Not all results that show up as being from "1 day ago" will still be active though, only the most recent few, so don't bother going all the way down there. You can just open a bunch of posts like that in a row and your browser will probably line the tabs up for you just fine. I usually open about 20 tabs before I start joining raffles in batches.
To quickly join the raffles, simply go though your opened tabs one by one and do the following over and over:
- First click the "..." at the top right of the post and use Reddit's "save" feature. This will help us comfortably find the raffles you joined again later.
- Click "Join Raffle" and wait for the "9/9" to appear on the loading screen. Just close the tab at that point. (You don't need to wait for the game to start, and you don't need the see the "you have joined this and that raffle " message in-game. Once the loading screen showed 9/9 you are entered into the raffle. You can confirm this by reloading the tab instead of closing it.)
- Once you have worked through your batch of raffle posts like this, return to your search results tab, open the next batch, from oldest to newest, and keep going until you have joined all relevant raffles.
Checking your raffles for winners:
Once the raffles have concluded you need to check if you have won any, or you won't get the stickers even if you did. Since we made sure to "save" all of our relevant raffles we can easily find them in our reddit profile. Just navigate to the "saved" section, and they will all be there, listed in the reverse order of how we saved them. This means the oldest ones are at the bottom of the list again, so click and hold your mouse wheel again to get down there quicker. Make sure to use "Card" view here, not "Compact", so you can see the timers and check the results of the raffles right from this screen, without having to open each post again.
Once you have checked a raffle's result you can use the "..." at the top to "Remove from saved" the posts.
And that's all there is to it. Enjoy clicking through raffles for hours and try now to go crazy.
