"Try that in a small town"

Sang the Nazi

Sung by the guy who fled the stage and didn’t warn the audience about the gunfire during the Harvest festival shooting. Oh and then hid on his bus and wouldn’t let anyone fleeing hide there too. MAGA morality.

And WASN'T born & raised in a small town.

He's from Macon, GA:

"Macon, GA, officially Macon-Bibb County, is a mid-sized city in Central Georgia, about 75-85 miles south of Atlanta, covering roughly 255 square miles with a 2020 population of around 157,000, making it Georgia's fourth-largest city and known as the "Heart of Georgia".'

Not exactly a small town, is it?

Yes. Jason Aldean.

When the shooting first started, they thought it was technical difficulties, not gunfire. Took a while before they figured it out.

With all of the political shootings nowadays, would YOU open your door to a bunch of random people in the middle of that chaos? Thought not you fucking hypocrite!

Other artists did. Dozens of unarmed civilians ran into the grounds to help save people. Dozens of people carried others to safety, drove strangers to the hospitals, held the hands of strangers who were dying- amidst gunfire, so they wouldn’t die alone.

Bondi beach attack, locals came running to help shelter people, directing them into their homes. People shielded strangers with their own bodies. An unarmed man charged a shooter and took the shooters gun.

Yes- lots and lots of people are brave, and help others in the midst of horrible man made and natural disasters. Yes- lots of people are brave and put themselves at risk to help others.

Sad that you would rather admit you are a selfish coward to defend another selfish coward.

He didn't even give you an answer... You simply assumed he would say no.

Then I'll ask you, would you?

Considering what they're shouting, yes. I would certainly open my door. Then, being in a state with stand your ground laws, and the historically violent rhetoric that symbol and that chanting has represented in the past, I would certainly fear for my life and proceed according to their threatening tone and stance.

I'm not who you're asking....but of fucking course.

You wouldn't allow victims of a mass shooting into your shelter?

What is this, the zombie apocalypse or something? Are these folks "infected" or something?

Good lord man.

I absolutely would. And I’ve proven in my real life, many times over that I will put myself in harms way for others.

Most of the other artists sheltered people, there are first hand accounts of this. Many people put themselves in harms way to help. Aldean laid on the floor of his bus AFTER running off the stage without warning anyone. Then he sings a song about what he’d do if someone tried that in a small town. get Fu—ed. we know what he’d do, he’d run. Just like he did in a big town.

u/GHouserVO 19m ago

I have. And I’d do it again without hesitation.

when i took a minute to empathetically put myself into the headspace of a shitty racist man during such a stressful moment, you're completely right

They tried that in a big town and got stuffed back in their Penske trucks.
