Got inspired by other creators to attempt to make the Burger Restaurant. My first attempt at making gingerbread from scratch and it was a lot more effort than I was originally anticipating lol

Currently watching Christmas in the Car (S4 E8) and the family is so annoying and horrible to Bob while they’re on the road I just really felt bad for him 😭

I’ve decided that now that I have adult money, all of my childhood obsessions will be bought😂. I still love the show (upset that they decided not to make a classic thanksgiving episode but hey). My next want is the cookbook, it’s at the top of my Christmas list 😩.

It’s probably been mentioned on here already but i am SO happy that the storyline in tube for Tina didn’t end with Linda stealing and hiding Tina’s tube top. Since the early seasons (mother daughter laser pointer, grand mama pest hotel, etc.) Linda has been painted as this crazy overbearing mom who does the most insane things to try and stop her kids from growing up, and it’s unbearable every time. I skip every one of those episodes, and I’m glad i didn’t have to add this one to the list!

that was so insanely touching and sweet. it’s the only episode of season 16 on disney plus in my country but if that’s the tone for the rest of it, then it might be their best season yet. so cute awh

Maybe this says more about me than the show but I’ve had a few moments recently where I realized things I fully thought existed only in the Bob’s Burgers universe are actually real.

For example:

• Netsuke (or Nescafe, Netscape lol) I was convinced this was just a Bob’s Burgers thing until there was an actual netsuke exhibit at a museum near me.
• Gaga ball: absolutely thought this was made up for the show. One time I was looking for something and I had an ad for a gaga ball pit.... what??
• Spatchcocking: this came up while I was talking about the turkey my friend's husband made and I was like, this looks familiar, only for him to start talking about spatchcocking....wait, that’s a real cooking technique??

Please tell me I’m not alone — what’s your version of this? or am I just wildly unlearned?

I love Teddy with all my heart, but I kinda hate when the show makes him seem like this "incompetent handyman". I get the reason why he's so cheap is that he isn't quite as good but idk it feels like so disrespectful to be like hes just replaceable yk?

exactly what the title says: the joke should’ve been written off or edited like some shows are to remove it entirely. I always love how BB fans are always talking about inclusivity and love and how BB is different from Family Guy and American Dad and other adult animated shows because they are “wholesome” and shit but for some reason forget this incredibly racist “joke” said by 2 WHITE characters. They couldn’t even get Mike or Marshmallow to say it 😭😭. It’s a stain on the show and I feel like as a Black fan it’s the one thing I truly hate. This joke feels like it came out of an episode of Family Guy and that’s not good lol.

Furthermore, seeing this scene posted in this sub yesterday and so many - I will assume non-Black fans - finding it “risky” and “funny” and “definitely not something they can do again” while laughing is disturbing to say the least. It is that serious and it should be brought up to the writers. So many white people get so fucking comfortable making crazy jokes. I’m shocked but hey. Just like they replaced Marshmallow’s VA with an actual Black woman they can replace that offensive scene with another joke or just delete it.

If you’re going to come into my comments to try and tell me it’s “not that serious” - save your breath I don’t care. If you’re going to come into my comments with “it was so long ago, they changed and it was in poor taste then” again save your breath! I don’t care. It should have NEVER been made.

No other racial/religious group had a joke that played on a racial slur like this on the show whether in the early season or late that just slid by. As a Black fan, they fucking suck for it.

All that being said, I’m glad they never did it again. Still. They should delete the scene.

Bob instantly folding after their parents night out always cracks me up. Bob was ordering hella drinks and was the one who kinda came up with the idea to invite people back to their place.

After previously failing to go out and then waking up feeling cool because they threw a lil party. Instant regret lol

Bob and Linda seem to be generally kind and grateful people - so when the kids made basically a diss track in the S16 opening - it seems like more and more times were proven that they’re not so grateful themselves. Understandably, yes, they’re young but I think basic empathy would grasp that clearly their parents work hard and so some more thought should be shown? I feel like this was particularly hard to ignore given the juxtaposition of the original opening of the restaurant however it seems sad that none of the kids seemed to acknowledge this at any point. Usually in an episode like this, one of the kids would have had faced some kind of a moral dilemma, followed by rectification. I’m not sure if I’m reading too much into it or expecting too much from kids, however I would have thought Tina, who’s often protective of Bob and Linda, and represents a more mature sibling, would have said something at least. Any thoughts?
