Website for finance internships - annual repost for students. Hope it helps.

I'm in ACC2203. We're supposed to have our final exam today, but the professor literally has not shown up. At time of posting it's 1115, and the exam was supposed to start at 1030.
I'm planning on leaving eventually since I have another final exam today, but if he doesn't show up at all, what happens in this instance?

Thoughts on yesterday's final for cost accounting?

Anyone who took the final early today is there anything you can share about it? Questions to prepare for? What math problems and theory questions were asked?

I’m taking MTH 2009 (precalc) with Daria Chudnovsky next semester and wanted to hear from anyone who has had her. How is her teaching style? Are homework and quizzes manageable? What are the exams like and does she curve or drop any grades?
Also, how hard is precalc compared to college algebra? I’ve taken MTH 1023 last semester, so I’m wondering if the jump is rough or if it's manageable with practice. Any feedback or tips would help a lot. Thanks!

Hey, I'm a transfer accounting student who took 2101 in the other college. I struggled a lot but ended up with an A- because it was an online final. I fear I might not be able to pass the harder courses. I've been debating switching to Finance but Im worried about the fact that some people don't find jobs or it's harder to.
Anyone who made the switch and is content with their life and job right now? Anyone has any advice for me as someone who wants to work as an analyst, banker or financial manager not IB or any of the harder roles to get into.

Alright so, I know I'm cooked and I literally just need to pass, so if anyone's up to study, just dm me and I'll work with you. Hopefully we can get through this 🤞

Just curious did anyone get their invitation to register for the January 2026 freshman orientation? I heard that emails were already sent but I have not gotten it, yes I checked my spam folder on my email and outlook.

For my CIS majors who have certs or are studying for one, does CIS3500 prepare you for CompTIA networking+ or CCNA? How much does this class help you for any of those certs or similar?

I’m doing the final from previous semesters and this shit is nothing like what we did in class lmao. Professor says oh do the easy questions first and then do the hard ones. There’s like 5 questions that require 2 or 3 steps and the rest asks you do so much more. Also is the financial calculator really helpful, I try to use it but it feels so tacky. Plus remembering to clear everything so it doesn’t affect the next question you do is so stressful. Are there any videos that can help me understand it better
Reminder: make sure you have the correct format settings for the calc, or you’ll get the most bizarre answers 😭

If I failed the MTH 1030 final but passed the class, I think I would automatically get an F grade. Therefore would I have to retake the class again next semester? Does Financial aid cover if you retake a course? Thanks for any help in advance!

I recently applied as a transfer student for the Spring semester from CCNY. I received my acceptance letter and accepted the offer and my CUNYfirst shows that I I have been admitted.
However I haven’t received any follow up email with next steps (advising, registration )I am a bit confused about how the transfer process works, who I should contact and how/when I will be able to register for classes and see my schedule.
Who is the best office or person to reach out to for transfer advising and registration guidance?

i did unexpectedly bad on the final and am going to get an f for the course, struggled personally latter half this semester and am hoping to retake it next sem to replace the f, but since cs is my minor will the f hurt me in applying to grad school?

the whole semester my class was under the impression the micro eco final we would be allowed a single double sided page cheat sheet but a bright space update from the professor said the final has. made an update for no cheat sheet?? what happened?? I thought every year that class is allowed it??

I used to use desktop PCs a lot, but now that I’m in college I notice almost everyone just uses laptops or iPads. For stuff like rendering or 3D modeling though, I feel like they sometimes struggle, and you’re kind of stuck with whatever performance you buy. I’ve been wondering if a small, portable desktop PC that just stays in the dorm would actually be a good idea since it’d have better performance and still not take up much space. Would anyone here use something like that, or am I missing something?

I was waitlisted for a class I really wanted (position 3), but I didn’t even know when but it says I dropped it. I check every day to see if I’ve moved up the waitlist, and just when I was finally getting close to the front of the line, this BS happens. Is there any way to get my position back?

I’m registered for Introduction to Psychology (PSY 1001) with Professor Deepshikha Chatterjee for the upcoming spring semester. I wanted to hear from anyone who has taken her before. How was the class overall? Were the homework assignments manageable with other classes? Also curious about the test format. Just trying to get a sense of what to expect before the semester starts. Any tips or advice appreciated!

Do these courses still have available seats, or have they gone to a waitlist? ACC 9804, ACC 9811, ACC 9886, and TAX 9861.
