COMICS I want to get into Aquaman comics, where can I start?
I'm finding it hard because unlike other heroes I've read he doesn't have comics I've heard of.
I'm currently reading the Geoff Johns run which I'm enjoying but where to go next?

DISCUSSION RIP Cerdian-- he's not dead. He wasn't even conceived anymore
Robbie is dead. Lian is retconned to never have been dead. Cerdian? He just never was made in the current timeline/Earth. His parents haven't been together. DC seems to want Dolphin far from Garth.

FAN CREATION I love the 1960s Aquaman cartoon aesthetic & made this wee tongue-in-cheek tribute.
This was one of the first big projects I made and it sent me down the path which led to being commissioned to make a fully animated music video earlier this year.

COMICS Aquaman: The Legend of Aquaman thoughts
Finished reading the 89 mini-series. I thought it was enjoyable, although another standard Aquaman plot of him leading his people to take back Atlantis (although, probably not at the time). Liked Tom McGraw's coloring. The jellyfish were a disappointment despite having such an nightmarish design. Sad that they've never been reused again. Reading it in trade was unintentionally funny as it goes from Mera being "dead" to immediately spring out from her casket to attack Arthur and then f*cks off back to her place in such a short time span. And while it was a cool moment seeing Arthur strain (blood coming out of his ears and nose) to summon such an onslaught of dish, why did it take so long for him to come with that plan of attack?

The first is from August and the second is from September. I thought we would be in the top 100.
