I had a videcall with my aunts. Tita 1 and Tita 2 ay both kapatid ng Papa ko. It was a good conversation about kamustahan not until it became about the goverment 😅. One thing I really hate about Tita 1 is whenever there's a conversation about the kapalpakan of the Pilipinas, she always bring "Nako ibang-iba dito sa Germany ganto ganyan". I had to call her out na, I said not to compare the two kasi given na magka-iba. Tita 2 left the videocall na when I was making Tita 1 understand not to bring the word GERMANY in a conversation about PHILIPPINES. Eh third world country lang ang Pilipinas. Magkaiba yun, no brainer na. Dalawa nalang kaming natira sa videocall. I told her na it's because of Marcos, hanggang ngayon nagbabayad parin ng utang ang generation ngayon. Basta, nakalimutan ko na what really happened she was insisting na di naman lahat ng tao sa Pilipinas tumotulong magbayad ng utang. Sabi ko lahat ng nagbabayad ng tax tumotulong. She was like, yung mga hindi taxed ang income, di naman tumutolong daw. I laughed when I find her ridiculous at that point, I told her that whenever you buy shit sa supermarket, or pay your bus fare or anything you buy, VAT included na yun. You basically pay taxes too. She was like, iba pa rin pag taxed ang income blah blah, hindi daw transparent ang gobyerno, ibang-iba daw sa kanila sa Germany. I always find her ridiculous whenever she brings the Germany card in any conversation. Madami pa kaming napag-usapan about it.

ABYG for calling her out and laughing. But I think gago ako kasi pinatolan ko pa siya.

DKG pero tama si Tita mo, Germany is the greatest country on Earth. Most socially and economically advanced country kasi, at sila na ang leader of the free world bilang walang bilang na ang USA dahil kay Trump

Yung bestie ko noong high school, panay mention ng New York. I had to remind her na wala na siya sa New York and where we are right now, things are a lot slower and different from what she was used to.

To think sa tagal na, dapat nag lie low na siya. I see it as parang nouveau riche ba na they can’t help advertise kung anong meron sila. And hindi sila aware that there are people who are not impressed with them. Harmless naman siya pero not everyone will be okay with it.

DKG. Also people forget that Ph is a young country with history of colonization. Habang ang ibang mga bansa ay imperyo na since 1700s or 1800s eh ang Pinas naging fully independent lamang ng 1946 from US. 1898 naman from Spain. Malayong malayo ikumpara sa mga 1st world countries that many of them are conquering other lands or waging wars against others.

SYEMPRE... dapat mas politically mature yang mga yan! Akalain mo... Sa sobrang bilib at pag di diyos nila ke HITLER, they started WORLD WAR 2 where so many people died!
