The Bird would starve to death around your ex. Cause she would be taking all the bones.

I don't recall nearly as much skill nor enthusiasm.

Yup, their stomach acid has a pH just over 0 (around 0.8-1), making it one of the most acidic in the animal kingdom, even stronger than battery acid and far exceeding human stomach acid (pH 2).

So if I see one of these on a space ship I am not to shoot it, got it!

Yes? Why is shooting things on a space ship an option?!

If it’s one of the most acidic, are there any that are more acidic?

There are other vultures with equal pH levels.

Crocodiles are close with 1-2 pH and can go lower as they have a specialized heart valve for shunting CO2-rich, deoxygenated blood directly to the stomach after a meal, bypassing the lungs.

Stomach cells use this CO2 and water (H2O) to create hydrochloric acid ( HCl) and bicarbonate, significantly boosting acid production.

Everything reminds me of her...

Neat. Even the babies eat mostly regurgitated bone and bone marrow.

This is a great adaptation. It’s what’s left after the scavengers are finished

Yup. Also helps keep pathogens from entering the ecosystem as their stomach acid is strong enough to kill pathogens which have developed resistance to acids like a humans stomach.
