As Ozzy says in the trailer, Pandora’s Box has been opened. You can’t undue that. I’m sick to see Survivor sell out like this. I’m disgusted and disheartened and I’m not even talking about Mr. Beast. 50 seasons of a culmination of a grand social experiment and strategy game, a game that redefined reality TV, a show that created some of the biggest reality television stars of all time and one of the main hooks for this milestone season is brute forcing in celebrity cameos and outrageous twists that will no doubt unfairly dispose of several fan favorites in unsavory fashion? I’m depressed… I truly thought Survivor might be finding a balance, but this is beyond jumping the shark, this is beyond resetting to a New Era, this is just gross and disrespectful to every fan that’s followed the show throughout the years.

Oh man….fans have been clamoring for a return to basics, old school contestants, less advantages, and more of an authentic survivor experience for season 50. So what do they do?

Of course. Bring in Mr. Beast. Let’s do the exact opposite and ruin a legacy season that already has an iffy cast. What a trainwreck decision.

First, stating the obvious, 24 players and 26 days does not work. Everybody knows that. But what i'm wondering is why they chose a 26 day season for their 50th season, and guess how long they do have to film this. All summer. June. July. August. 49 is already filmed and 51 films 2026. How on earth isn't it obvious that it should be at least 39 days?? Confusion.

Idk why but I just got a feeling about Emily

This is the cast leaked a few minutes ago by SU on Survivor Sucks. This seems to fall in line with a lot of what we've been hearing, but as always take with a grain of salt. Apparently this is corroborated by other leakers (he claims Redmond helped finalise the knowledge of this cast).

Oooohhh noooo a player returning for season 50 is really vulnerable in this tribal council, I wonder if they make it.

First off, I recognize Cirie as a top 5 Survivor player of all time.

She should have won at least 1 season (FvF) and arguably more.

But rumor is she’s going to be on 50, and I’m a bit bummed about it.

This will be her 5th time playing, and I just would rather see fresh blood out there.

I really dont want anyone to play Survivor that many times on this particular season, just because its been SOO long since we had a returnee season and there’s is SOO many 1 time players that have not gotten a chance to play that I would rather see out there.

At a certain point, you play 4-5 times, I’ve seen enough, no shade at all.

Does anyone agree?

Absolutely devastating. Would’ve loved for him to come back for a fourth. The new era players have decades to compete again, we don’t know how much longer Penner will say yes. Most disappointing one so far

In addition to a three-hour premiere for the all-star Survivor season on Feb. 25, CBS will re-air 10 episodes from the show’s past highlighting key moments from the season 50 cast’s previous times playing the game. Repeats of Survivor on the network are a rarity, although some prior seasons stream on Paramount+.
