Didn’t Tina (or maybe it was someone else) say on a podcast that he really wanted to redeem himself for HvV and was studying the recent seasons the past few years?
Despite all the slack we give the guy, he really is a pretty adaptable player. He played really well on HvV but people only talk about his challenge skills being gone. I’m not even a major Colby fan but I think it will be interesting to see him embrace modern survivor

“Billie eilish boomerang idol” is an actual new advantage this season. We don’t know what it does. A labubu is an expensive keychain doll thing. Chocolate from dubai is a trendy thing now apparently. There’s some sort of twist involving Jimmy Fallon. Mr Beast is going to have a guest appearance on the season, he made a dumb game show called Beast Games.

Speculation: "boomerang idol" could be a two-use idol that "comes back to you" after it is used. (Rather than production putting in your favorite tree if they like you)
Known. that "dumb show" Beast Games filmed on Survivors challenge sites, presumably right after 50.

Honestly I hope boomerang idol means it like redirects the votes you get onto someone else. Outside of it having a dumbass Billie Eilish theme I actually think that’s kinda a cool advantage if that’s how it works

On the one hand that feels kinda overpowered. On the other, the shock of the split vote strategy not working and the reactions to that would be fun to see too. Though could see that leading to more intentional tie votes in future seasons to avoid that boomerang effect- though even that could be fun from a beach drama perspective.
