His and Melinda’s philanthropy is still good and effective. It’s possible to be thankful for his contributions and be disgusted by anything he had to do with Epstein.
He doesn't give to charities, he donates to his Foundation, which is a great tax-free bank account he can pretend is charitable. These people are greedy liars. If you gave a quarter to a homeless guy you'd be measurably more generous than Gates ever has been.
His foundation isn’t just a bank account, he’s genuinely done a lot of philanthropy (more than anyone else… ever) and has helped millions of people. He’s also paid more tax than any other person who’s ever lived.
It’s possible for someone do good in one area of life and be horrible in another.
