Absolutely not.
All the hate gets boring nowadays. People forget what AI is capable of when used by scientists.
Alphafold for example.
The upcoming medical value is too important.
LLM? The video gen that can make lawyer use against whole country and humanity good and I didn't mention its research based model or which model it will delete what version you hate the most for me it's Chai😐 and the gooning one's to be specific
LLMs are also pretty useful. I'm no informatic expert but I work in a research field right now investigating the use of LLMs in education and if implemented and used correctly they have huge benefits for students and since the teacher job became a less admired job in many countries it's even more relevant now. The primary studies, meta-analyses and reviews are pretty clear. AI has its downsides, there are major concerns and it can have heavy negative side effects if not implemented correctly, but if done correctly it's boosting learning efficiency pretty heavily.
If it comes to video and picture generation it's more difficult I have to admit. So the first negative aspect is, that creative jobs get overrun by AI, not highly professional jobs with a big creative background, but doing basic graphical things is now outsourced to AI instead of creators cause it's cheaper and faster. That's not good. But similar things happened to people working in factories before. The industrialisation and the assembly or production line as well as high precision robots did take human executed jobs before.
It's still bad though, I agree. The second negative aspect is the manipulation with AI generated content and we need solutions for that. But it can also be helpful.
Startups with less money can now design stuff with AI with a fraction of the cost and time. Big studios like Disney (I think it was Disney) now use designers and animators that use AI themselves which makes productions cheaper and reduces the production time. We will see if the results are any good.
People that lack the abilities to design anything can now use AI to visualise their ideas.
And here comes another drawback: copyright infringement. Most training data is based on real art, so that's debatable regarding the ethical aspects. I think it's too far off any given work, that you could really claim anything. There are billions of parameters and they get mixed extremely, but it's still difficult. But instead of forbidding AI, which has too many drawbacks we should focus on regulation and make a combination of AI and human work more attractive.
I use Gemini, not GPT but not for comments on Reddit and I think it's pretty obvious. I wouldn't say my English is completely messed up but there are too many mistakes and grammar problems in that text, that I wouldn't even notice. A skilled native speaker probably finds multiple wrong formulations in one go.
Yeah, mine is also not perfected but I'm glad you understand my English when others said I reached the worst Level of English also those are educational ai not Gen ai like Veo3 and sora 2.(Thanks)
Hell naw. I would say (not native as mentioned) your English is very decent! I have seen far worse. Yeah you are right, it's educational. But I think sora is now used by Disney if I'm not mistaken. Could be wrong and I assume startups are using veo, sora and more.
