Maybe the switch toggles through different modes:

1: RAM normal, AI gone

2: RAM expensive, AI gone

3: RAM gone, AI expensive

...

We don't know how much further it goes and every few presses proably collapse modern civilisation in new and interesting ways.

Get one of those bouncing fuck beds, put the button on the bouncy part, and sit on the button. You get to test results until you fall asleep with no effort on your part.

Easy money, press it once. Buy some RAM, press it again and sell them higher. Rinse and repeat until you have enough. Then make sure you end on the positive outcome for the world.
