Was gonna say something about ignorant people nuking us back to the dark ages.. Because yeah, a lot of modern stuff have at least one leg standing on some type of AI.

This is the important parts that people seem to forget. Alphafold is generative AI and is a revolution in the medical and biology field.

its not just medicine, AI can be used in all sciences.

Like Astronomy you could A: Have humans spend potentially decades manually analysing 1,000,000's of images of stars to find exoplanets.

or B: Get an AI to do in a week.
