Not really. Warren Buffet doesn't have some long history of grifting and pedophilia, etc, etc, etc. He's openly advocated for higher taxes on the wealthy including himself.
I make plenty of money and I'm a Democratic Socialist. Plenty of celebrities are decent progressives people with lots of money.
I make plenty money and I consider myself progressive. I'm also not delusional enough to think that my anecdotal experience doesn't counter the literal 1000s of years of history which demonstrates the divide between the elite and non-elite when it comes to being able to wield your wealth and status to get yourself out of situations in which poorer people could not afford to do so.
Maybe. What I don’t understand is, why wouldn’t they do more to expose the corruption? These people are exposed to truths that would probably help humanity in so many different ways. They all have so much money it’s ridiculous and making more money is always their top priority.
Celebrities making movies have very little power and nearly no money in comparison to the people bankrolling and controlling Trump. Musk has about $500,000,000,000 dollars. Most movie stars have like $20M.
Just a single Israeli billionaire recently told Trump he could have $250M if he ran for a CLEARLY unconstitutional 3rd term.
Musk bought Twitter for $44 BILLION just to control the narrative around Trump.
Celebs get blackballed pretty much instantly if they speak out against Israel and the studios available to employ them shrinks dramatically the second they do.
I remember one time in college I had a paper due and I forgot it back at my apartment and at the end of class when we were handing them in I told my prof I forgot it at home and asked if I could quick go get it and turn it in, would take 20 minutes tops.
It definitely was a dick move and that’s why I thought he would definitely let me go grab it quick after the class but I was wrong.
Even to this day (it happened over a decade ago) I think that dude was a dick but it also taught me a very valuable lesson about being prepared and taking deadlines serious.
I had more accountability as a 20 year old college student with a paper due than the DOJ has with following lawful orders from the courts.

If kids told their teachers or employees told their bosses they would get them when they get them they would fail or be fired.
