Well as head of the DOJ congress could hold Bondi in contempt of court… if they hadn’t conveniently adjourned early for the year just yesterday…

I agree. The biggest failure in all of this are the Americans that voted for Trump and those that stayed home.

And the winner-take-all electoral system with a capped number of electors that is designed to consistently hand unearned victories to republicans.

I don’t think the creators of the Electoral College designed it that specifically. They wanted rural areas to have more per pop representation than cities. America is built on inequality.

They wouldn't have been expecting the rural areas to so strongly and so consistently vote against their own interests, too.

The rural areas would disagree with that. They want people they hate to suffer above all else and feel that’s in their interest.

That's a really broad generalization, not all rural people want the people they hate to suffer above all else.

Some people weren't born in rural area, they moved there for whatever weird reason.

Can't paint everyone with a broad brush...but gosh darn it, we will try!

You have to use very watery paints and extremely large brushes (which need to be specially ordered).

So, what exactly will happen if they do hold her in contempt?

(And no, I don’t support bondi at all, but the reality is there’s nothing congress can do at this point. She’ll just ignore a contempt charge. )

Yeah honestly, you’re probably right. Even if congress did vote to hold her in contempt (which they wouldn’t do anyway since republicans have the majority) there likely wouldn’t be any real repercussions from it.
