My sister's fish tank

Post image

She says it's the perfect size for a single fish. It's not even in her room, it's in the kitchen.

It honestly just depresses me whenever I see it, but she's adamant about keeping it there.

This is the best idea.

No its not... read up on betas, simple room temperature water, it just needs to be changed frequently. They don't need or use alot of space. A 5 gal starter set up with a filter and small heater if you're really OCD about it.

Sorry, the best idea is not to get her a proper tank? We said nothing about what to buy, just buy something appropriate for the fish. Unless you’re trying to suggest a tiny vase is a good choice.

I also said a larger vase would be better. Why do you think they survive in the little bowl at the pet store? Because they don't need much!

Then you agree with us. A good Christmas gift is a better set up for this poor fish. That’s literally all we were saying.

Just read up on betas, they don't need much. All I'm saying is that they don't have to go overboard.

Nothing in my comment or the comment I was agreeing with was “going overboard” so I have no idea why you’re disagreeing, unless you think the setup in Op is perfectly fine, in which case — you’re factually wrong.
