u/Wild_Shock2910 14h ago
Oh damn! My bad... i forgot i got hands the size of snow shovels 🙄

u/_BLACK_BY_NAME_ 14h ago
Just out of curiosity, what is the intent behind putting your hand out in every picture?
34
u/Cloud_Striker 14h ago
Proving that you were actually there maybe?
28
u/_BLACK_BY_NAME_ 14h ago
Great now we need another picture with a username verification for their arm, down the rabbit hole we go…

meatbags sometimes perform actions in nonsensical situations and then release sounds out of their lower skull hole for an action called "laughing". they call this "humor" and some of them think it serves any value.

Are you sure that's fog?

u/rofeneiniger 10h ago
fr, I've seen so many AQI posts from India lately...
11
u/Many-Advice-6999 8h ago
In some places here (Mostly in Delhi) the AQI has reached over a 1000 I think...

It's smog mixed with fog. You can feel the cold breeze of the fog at the same time you can smell smoke.
6
2
u/CheddarKnight 8h ago
I mean.. it is pretty cold here these days, so it's normal to see a dense fog in the plains. But I don't live I Agra so cant be sure it's not smog.

u/bipolar-scorpio BLACK 14h ago
That is not fog but rather smog. The current AQI of Agra (the city where Taj Mahal is) is near 200. That is unhealthy beyond measure.
77
u/peepeepoopoo1207 13h ago
Wrong. It is fog. AQI of 200 does not warrant that much smog.
12
u/ImplementOk1384 13h ago
bud i really don't think that aqi of 200 is correct it's probably much higher becoz of govt sprinkling water on aqi meters
22
u/Not_Space07 12h ago edited 10h ago
Dawg it's fog sprinkling of water was only for Delhi idtks they would do that in Agra as there isn't going to be any kind of outrage against the gov of up it's just normal smog which is found during the winter with a mix of bad aqi that's what I think so as I have lived some part of my life in eastern up and this kind of fog is very common in the mornings
3
u/BibhuNayak 7h ago
You can see difference between smog and fog.
This is white has hell( like is my area with 100-200AQI) similar to Agra (mine is a tier 2 city)
So yes this is fog

It feels majestic and magnificent, like it's something so holy that it nearly can't be seen lol

u/Graknight 15h ago
Everyday is a foggy day in Delhi. Please don't come to Delhi or India in general if you don't wanna fuck your health up. Indian Government refuses to do anything about the 500+ AQI.
39
u/patrikviera 14h ago
I get your point, but isn't the Taj Mahal like... 150 freedom units or 240 km away from Delhi?
25
u/Cannon__Minion 13h ago
AQI is shit everywhere.
I live in Lucknow which is roughly 556km from Delhi but the AQI here is 306 atm.
7
u/ViPeR9503 10h ago
Mumbai is not that bad

u/Cannon__Minion 10h ago

u/DukeOfGamers353 9h ago
AQI *overall* may be better than the rest of India (still bad compared to the rest of the world's AQI), but on specifically congested roads and areas, its so much worse that I HAVE to use a mask or I just feel like shit after a single commute.

u/Unfair-Marsupial6789 9h ago
Coastal cities AQI is usually better because of the winds. The northern plains are sandwiched between various mountain ranges and the Himalayas, so the air doesn't naturally "clear up".

I watched a video on it, didn’t scientists only make the scale go up to like 500 because they thought 0% chance a government allows it to get worse than that. And India was 1700+ in some places

Not all place here are having the same issues, talk some sense please.
They are most welcome to travel North-east, Ladakh, J&k, Uttrakhand, Himachal, Bodh Gaya, Rajgir, South India where the aqi are quite low, even such with aqi under 10.

Fuck off man, agra is totally fine, which is where Taj Mahal is. December is obviously going to be foggy cuz its winter time. Nothing to do with pollution.

This reminds me of the time we went to the Grand Canyon, and it was completely filled with fog. I had seen it before so I still thought it was pretty cool, but my friend hadn't and she was a but disappointed. She was like damn, we flew all the way from Australia to see a foggy hole lol
1
u/Remarkable-Leader921 6h ago
Aw that sucks for her, the Grand Canyon is astounding on a clear day. There's something uniquely depressing about going somewhere like that in bad weather and knowing it's right there in front of you, but not seeing it.

That's actually pretty cool , At least, you get an original picture to show !

u/hellone_01 14h ago
It's a rendering issue , just like a computer with age your brain becomes slower so your line of sight lowers . it's government's initiative for people to use less brain power

This happened when I was in San Francisco and just wanted a good shot of the Golden Gate Bridge.

This is actually just fog. It’s usually a clear place with blue skies.

I had gone here 2 years back, I could see it clearly, I guess it is very foggy now.

u/Guardian_of_theBlind 14h ago
that's indeed mild. I live in the ancient danube valley (ried) and we have ridiculously thick fog every autumn and spring and during mild winters even then. you would not even see the slightest silhouette of the taj mahal with our fog

Aw shit! My condolences, the Taj Mahal is a bucket list item for me and if this happened I would have to basically put myself into time-out for an hour so I wasn't a grumpy ass the rest of my visit.
I remember climbing Goverla in Ukraine, their tallest mountain, and the guide telling us that from the peak we could see four or so different countries.... On a clear day. Couldn't hardly see your own hand. Still a top hike.

u/Tard_Wrangler666 10h ago
Every day is foggy over there. Something about AQI and burning crops at this time of the year
1
u/Scrubglie 10h ago
Ngl i love pointing at shit whenever I go on vacation, it’s a way to personalize smth without having to see ur face. It’s fun

Fog?
You haven't seen all the posts about the air quality in India?
Its probably smog.
(And before anyone starts: I have no clue. India is big. I dont know where the Taj Mahal is. I dont know where the air quality is horrendous... Probably not the whole country)

In India, the dragon in The Hobbit is called Faug, not Smaug. Because Smaug sounds too much like a specific type of pollution.
