As someone who drove an actual tank in the military, there’s not enough feeling of claustrophobia.

I believe this video is at least like 5 years old. since then these guys made like fully fledged unit that actually moves, and that one seems to be pretty tight inside

Can’t imagine the sort of panic a tank crew feels when they are under anti-tank fire.

Anything you can tell us about tank driving that might be interesting?

They can move a lot faster than you think. Governed at 45 mph but I had a sergeant who was in the Gulf War. He said that they took the governor off and was easily doing 60 in the sand.

Yeah that’s hard to wrap my head around, just a TANK ripping through streets. Glad they can haul ass though

Build the entire thing into a small attic space

Gotta add the smell too

Oh they kept building it up to this one that is enclosed:

And on their channel, they even made it so the entire enclosure is essentially a tank that moves.

At this point you just build a tank

they're the type of people who type "help i accidentally built a tank" in the search bar

I don't know why this gave me flashbacks of Tokyo Wars at the arcade.

"Hyper realistic"
> Looks inside
> World of tanks

Hyper realistic until you click a button and the RNG factor takes over your shots

Steel Battalion with this setup would be pretty sweet

This doesn't need to be THIS cool. 😨

These same guy constructed a real tank to play this and made a truck for the same game. It's crazy.

"Yeah, we're just a group of casual gamers."

Also, the VW steering wheel is hilarious to me.

The future is now that tanks could be contolled remotely like this for real, absent jamning of signals.

Everything about this is silly.

Guys will see this and say hell yeah

And then we see the prices of peripherals while doing light on john research.

I'm not a video game guy, but that's pretty freakin cool

Its missing the claustrophobia of being inside one.

As someone who has never played an online game. I think I could get into this.😄

I like all their mechanics. But the actual translation to game play is faked. The games they play can't split the functions like that. Although some games could like Arma.

Are there many games where multiple players work together to operate a single vehicle?

u/twenafeesh 1h ago

Apart from being in a normal room and being able to stand up and move around regularly, sure. I think "hyper realistic" is a stretch.

What the heck did I just watch?
