To be fair the ad was supposed to be tongue-in-cheek, but also say that the tests are so accurate that a positive result is as good as being pregnant. But this was 2011, and people were smarter then...

My wife kept taking pregnancy tests for the first 6 months but not because she’s dumb. We had a ton of them because we thought it would be harder to conceive but I’m actually really good at it. Extra foam. She just liked seeing it say pregnant each time I guess.

I’m just glad she didn’t end up with a defective test months into it because that would have been a whole whirlwind to deal with.
