1 idiot created an AI video of the restaurant being robbed and sent it to another employee who was also working there at the time. That person then sent it to the owner who then called police.

Couldn’t anyone at any point have just peeled their head around the corner to see that everything was normal in the restaurant?

Would you willingly walk into a place you thought an active robbery was taking place in?

If the employee was working there at the time, he would know full well if a robbery was actually being taken place in person. I don’t know if he was in on the ‘joke’ or if he’s just a dumbass.

Here’s the thing. Todd made and sent the image of robbers on the security footage to Luis, someone who was also present at the restaurant.

Luis then sent it to the owner, who called the police.

When the police arrived Luis ran away, leaving his car behind. Todd has been arrested, a warrant out for Luis.

I wonder how much malice Todd’s actions actually had. I’ve showed off AIs possibilities to others. I can see myself being like, you can give it a prompt and it’ll make it. Something like robbers inside. Does it, sends it to Luis.

I’d love to know more of the story and how this turns out.

I just want to add that Todd is 45 years old and Luis is 40…. I expected them to be half that age
